Fireworks two days (Friday and Saturday) for me, cleaning up today, pup didn’t like them at all. I burnt a Party Short at the BBQ spot we watch them from - a guy smoking a cigarette made me really crave one but the Party Short beat back the urge. Beat up Monte 2 for 4th (intended on Espy but didn’t happen), forgot pics of cigars. Fried up some chicken thighs today and determined matter of factually I like them much better than ANY other chicken meat. Made my daughter sad saying, “You’ll prob be around for 300th but me and mom and the dog probably won’t.” Never say that type of thing to a teenager. 🤦♂️ Happy 250th to the USA! 13
Popular Post HDGSN Posted July 6 Popular Post Posted July 6 Thursday: Called it early at work and went to the pool for the afternoon and evening. Friday: Chores to get the house ready for the Fourth and then a rain out afternoon. Bummer. But that Argentina - Cape Verde match was incredible. Saturday: Neighborhood parade and then hosted some people at our house for cookouts. Hot dogs, dips, and pies for lunch. Bison burgers, gulf shrimp, and cakes for dinner. Sunday: Swedish pancakes and doughnuts for breakfast and then a rain out right when we finally made it to the pool. Now having an N1 Lancero hoping that the Mexico - England match gets to kick off. That’s a hard one to pick a side to support. Thankfully, one of them has to lose :). 9

I went to college in central Maine. Spent a bunch of time on Belgrade Lake. Beautiful part of the country and (at least 20 years ago) was still largely untouched. Lots of multi generational lake camps. Very cool! 2

Joining from Osaka this year — took the little one to Universal Studios Japan for some Pokémon and Mario fun. No BBQ here, but a great family day out and I still managed to enjoy a Ramon Allones Private Stock 230 afterwards. The kid got Pikachu, Dad got a cigar. Everyone wins. Then drown down to the beach for the evening fireworks show! Ended the weekend with a short smoke and world cup game. 5
