Most everyone loves a cigar that comes in a cabinet of 50. I think there are many reasons, the cigars are round, they seem to age better, just the all around look!

It's a tragedy, but it's hard to argue against Cuban 50 cabs being in their final death throes. 

I would love to own a 50 cab of today's Montecristo 1 and Montecristo 3. I think they would be spectacular. You could imagine sliding that lid and being assaulted by the barnyard milk chocolate aroma.

Given today's pricing most of what I'd pick would be insanely expensive. CoLa, Espy in particular. 

If price wasn't as big a deal. Here's my take...

P898, PL Montecarlos, Monte Esp 2, BRC, Siglo II.  

I'd like to see more 5 counts similar to E2 or bring back 3/5 count Petacas back.

Bolivar Corona Gigantes and Extras were gems of the 50 cab packaging and if only we were back in the day where they were plentiful and sanely priced.

I absolutely love the cabs of 50. I’ve haven’t been purchasing any because they are just too too expensive now. I am speaking about the Lusitanias and HDM Double Coronas etc. They are gorgeous Cabs though and the beautiful tobacco smell is delightful when you slide that box open!

Oh, I would love HDM Epicure No 1 cab of 50.

I look at 50 cabs as cigars I will be smoking only occasionally. Not an everyday smoke like a PC. Churchills, Double Corona, Lonsdales, Lanceros. To me those are the perfect candidates to age slowly, but obviously that wouldn't sell to the masses.

Hell just give me back some of the old classics; BCE, BCG, Mag46, des Dieux. I think the corona size is an awesome canidate for 50 cabs. (I get why @El Presidente) included Monte 3s in his choice.

I don't know if my choice would change at all. Maybe some of the big dogs (eg. lusi, HDMDC etc).

I think if it's a 50 cab it couldn't be a ring gauge above 50 (Robusto)

I love 50 cabs. I feel like the smokes just help accentuate each other in bigger groups. I only own two 50 cabs PLPC and Party Shorts and love those smokes! May those 50 cabs continue to last.
