Popular Post Chibearsv Posted October 8, 2025 Popular Post Posted October 8, 2025 RyJ Deluxe is a 93-94 cigar for me, so it’s close but not quite there and I’m a fan of RyJ. Bushidos are next level good for me. 95+ and getting better at last try. 5
Popular Post JohnS Posted October 9, 2025 Popular Post Posted October 9, 2025 Cohiba Robustos Supremos, Partagas Seleccion Privada and Diplomaticos Bushidos are all 94 - 95+ cigars for me of late. 7

Boss Hog Posted October 9, 2025 Posted October 9, 2025 Quite a few excellent cigars on that list. These particular ones would definitely be worthy of such a score based on my experience. -Partagás Selección Privada -Juan López Minutos - Francia -Quai d'Orsay Belicoso Royal - Francia -Bolívar Bosphorus - Turquía -Sancho Panza Eslavo - Serbia 4
gormag38 Posted October 9, 2025 Posted October 9, 2025 Eslavo and Bushido stand out among the REs. I haven't heard very many positive reviews of the Bolivar Poderosos so I'm curious what other members have experienced. Hdm des Deiux, LUB HU2s, Punch Punch and CoRo stand out among the regular production talked about in the linked thread. The couple of des Dieux I've had from these years certainly were very good as are the HU2s. Can't say I've had any Punch Punch or Coro from these years, though. 3
CaptainQuintero Posted October 9, 2025 Posted October 9, 2025 Partagas Seleccion Privada was a stand out for me back then, but I haven't recovered for a good while. How did the Chunko Supreme Cohiba fare a decade on? I never jumped on them for a few reasons. 2
Popular Post Puros Y Vino Posted October 9, 2025 Popular Post Posted October 9, 2025 Here's my report of what I've had more than 1 of. EL's Punch Serie D'Oro No. 2 = Legendary. Grabbed 3 boxes. Split one on the 2013 trip. Smoked my share there. Loved it. Took one home, left one at Partagas locker(which I think is now long gone). A few in Cuba mentioned this was a very short production run <28,000 boxes. Bolívar Super Coronas = Great, powerful smokes. Very rich and flavourful. Cohiba Robustos Supremos = very good but overpriced and overhyped. Have about 3 left from a fiver. (Never grabbed a box). IMO this was the release that got people into flipping boxes vs enjoying them. A pox on them all! Partagás Selección Privada = A M A Z I N G. My only regret was only grabbing 1 box. Down to 2 in the box. Very sad. Regionals? 2013 Bolívar Poderosos - Belux - Great vitola. Down to my last one from a fiver. Very complex blend. El Rey del Mundo Infantes - Cuba - Epic. Bought about 10 boxes on a 2013 trip. Great mix of sweetness and spice. La Flor de Cano Grandiosos - Asia Pacifico - Good bang for buck. Not super exciting but I enjoy them. Ramón Allones Specially Selected Robusto Corto - Países Bajos - Had 1 single back then. Enjoyed it. Haven't cracked my full box yet. 2014 Bolívar Bosphorus - Turquía - Monster smoke in terms of strength and body. Makes RACF seem light. Very complex though. Would love this blend in a Lonsdale. Diplomáticos Bushido - Asia Pacifico - Epic vitola, beautiful balanced smoke. Slowly going through them over the years. Juan López Chiado 1864 - Portugal - Great bang for the buck. Nice fruity profile. La Flor de Cano Siboney - Canadá - Good for the price. Not too much to write about. The lesser of the Canada RE's IMO. Ramón Allones 8-9-8 - Alemania - Fantastic release. In terms of blend, I'd say they're 60% of the way towards the original production smoke. 5
bredy387 Posted October 9, 2025 Posted October 9, 2025 Man… reading through this is like flipping through an old menu from a restaurant that burned down. So many I passed on thinking “eh, I’ll grab it later.” Dumb. Dumb dumb dumb. 1 1

bmac Posted October 9, 2025 Posted October 9, 2025 I have a few of the Bolivar Poderosos’. Monster Vitola. Temperatures have cooled down along the gulf coast so I may smoke one soon. It’s been 7 or 8 years since I’ve had one. 2

westg Posted October 11, 2025 Posted October 11, 2025 Had some amazing boxes of Hoyo Grand Epicure BRS JUL 13. PSP. They were sensational and didn't last very long. Just too good at the time. 3
joeypots Posted October 12, 2025 Posted October 12, 2025 RASS, MUR FEB '13 HURR, UPE MAR 13 Punch Punch, LUB May 14 Siglo IV, LOA FEB 13 All of these cigars were memorable. I may have a few left hidden away in tubes bit for the most part they are gone. 3
Edicion Posted October 13, 2025 Posted October 13, 2025 There were quite a few mentions of PL Picadores that year (or two). Anyone who can share more on them, did they use to have a different blend worth of aging?

I have had many excellent aged ones but I personally believe this is one cigar where consistency of blend is all over the place. Personally, I think it is hit and miss. If you believe on average your young Picadores is going to follow the PLPC path and transition to a caramel wonderland, then you are going to be disappointed. 2 1
dicko Posted October 14, 2025 Posted October 14, 2025 These were the years I first started working full time so have a "base vintage" in my humidor of these years plus or minus a year or two. Everything has aged well. My only complaint from the era was a lot of underfilling/loose draws. I don't chase LE/RE but the Grandiosos is a favourite and Bushido (long gone but have box on display) was a GOAT. Sent from my SM-G986B using Tapatalk 1
