El Presidente Posted February 18 Posted February 18 Contenders for the "Richest" Light-Medium bodied Cuban cigar? Lets start by defining "Richest/Richness" in a Medium bodied cigar. Richness in a cigar refers to the depth, complexity, and fullness (but not strength) of its flavor profile. A rich cigar delivers, nuanced, and layered flavors that evolve throughout the smoking experience. It typically has a weighted/satisfying mouthfeel, and an enjoyable lingering aftertaste. Think about it. Your nomination. One only. From your combined nominations I will put up a poll tomorrow. Keep it to regular production 1
LaoFan Posted February 18 Posted February 18 Quai d'Orsay Senadores EL 2019. For regular production, recently the Diplo 2s have been fantastic. 3

bmac Posted February 18 Posted February 18 La Fuerza second half. They tend to start pretty pedestrian but the richness definitely builds, imho. 1
Edicion Posted February 18 Posted February 18 I have had plenty of Connie A's that fit the description. 3 1
Chibearsv Posted February 18 Posted February 18 First cigar I thought of was Connie A, so I'll second that motion.🙄 2
jfire Posted February 18 Posted February 18 HDM Epicure Especial, followed up by a disallowed (second choice but by a hair) QdO Corona. 1
MagicalBikeRide Posted February 18 Posted February 18 HU Mag50 and Hoyo Epi E are the two that spring to mind for me.
westg Posted February 18 Posted February 18 R&J Wide Churchill. Fits the bill for me and the most consistent cigar from 2021. Medium - depth complexity with fullness and beautiful body to the smoke. The examples you handed out on the deck on Friday. Sensational ! 4
Glass Half Full Posted February 19 Posted February 19 Diplomatico as a marca for this, and Dip 2 as the regular line issue. That said, all of the Diplomatico RE's I've been fortunate to taste always feature that incredibly rich yet mild set of characteristics in the extreme, especially the Diputado and the Embajador. 1
DennyPaul Posted February 19 Posted February 19 Choix Supreme. It's a close call for me between the QdO52, the Coronas Claro, or the ERdM Choix Supreme. Unfortunately, the Choix Supreme can be a little inconsistent, but when they are on, they have outperformed any QdO I've had to date. 2

Popof4 Posted February 19 Posted February 19 Media Luna. The best of the new line and meets your definition. 1
Tinny Posted February 19 Posted February 19 I have to go with HDM EE as well with a well aged PL Montecarlo, a close second. 1
