What's up for the weekend?

Did day trip to Sand Valley golf yesterday - 36 holes, morning at Lido, afternoon at Sedge Valley. Great trip and Sedge is definitely worth revisiting. Lots of beverages. Low key weekend making up for my absence..

I was looking forward to two day by myself. No wife, kids or in-laws. Two glorious days of sitting in the barn, reading and smoking. I was even going to break out some delayed celebratory sticks. Alas, my mother in-law change her mind and now I get to join my wife and kids and visit my sister in-law and her family. Cruel, just cruel.

I'm gonna bust-out the roller-blades that I got for xmas. Hopefully it will lead to more fitness activity inspiration.  I'm turning over a new leaf, I can feel it!

Luckily, I'm so old, fat, and pathetic that people's pity will outweigh their need to make fun of me for rollerblading.

Unfortunately, I'm still fighting the remnants of end-of-summer cold/allergies, so I probably won't get to smoke a cigar...it's been over a week since my last stick!

No, we'll still make fun of you for rollerblading!

Are you still stuck in the 90s? Gonna put on your hypercolour t-shirts, slap bracelets and dance to the macarena too? :P

Cooking the folks some braised beed shortribs tomorrow night. Going to organize some things and work on the fish bus. May go chase a few stripers Sunday if it isn't too hot.
