OH NO - Advice needed

One of my best buddies is in Isla Mujeres this week and sent us this picture. He’s excited to have a herf when he returns. I’ve been very generous to him and I know he’s grateful to be able to pay me back.

He’s a great friend and I obviously can’t tell him, but there's no way I’m smoking one of those.

I need advice, what do I do?

I am not familiar with Isla Mujeres, but if there is a LCDH there, they could be legit. 🤷🏼‍♂️ Smoking one with him won’t kill you, but will prolly make his day/week/month. Declining after that by not wanting to take “one of his good sticks” is not a bad idea. Just my $.02

You should tell him. Otherwise he's got to pack all those. Even worse, he might be the one the customs agent decides to inspect and it can't get any better from there.

Tell him to get in the boat back to Cancun and goto the LCDH. It's down the street from where all the day trip boats dock from Isla Mujeres.

I know where he bought them from as Di and I were in Isla Mujeres 4 years ago. Great spot. Tons of fakes but of high standard fake packaging 

Let's leave it that I wasn't impressed at the LCDH.

I say that, but a friend of mine brought back one of those 4-packs for me from there a few months ago, and I didn’t have the heart to tell him they were fake. He was so proud of himself for only paying $30.  If he had wanted to smoke one together, I would have told him.

It will be a learning experience for him. Just hope he's not out too much cash. It doesn't grow on trees. And yes they will most likely taste like shiite.

I'm actually going to put my hoof down on this one; No, don't make him feel bad. He's not a CC guy and obviously has no desire to be one. He bought those to impress his friends and co-workers, why take that away from him? Mike, my original advice stands. Graciously (In as much as you can do... Nevermind, tell Dana to graciously accept for you while you go inside to cut your prize) Let him feel like he's BMOC with his friends. If he chooses, he will learn later what the glass top box is.

My $100 offer still stands...
