Peter Luger Steakhouse in Brooklyn. Dry aged porterhouse, very light on the dry funk. I never went there during my 15 years living in Manhattan, so I was glad to go.The caraway seeded rolls may have been even better than the steak

Recently went to Andre’s in Naples FL. Started years ago by a long time Luger’s employee. Very similar vibe. Unfortunately we must have been there on an off night because it really wasn’t great.

Taste of Canton in North London. Roast duck, Hainanese chicken and crispy pork on rice. So glad we have one decent place that can do this in North London.

I want to eat at a real chippie place where they still serve it in newspaper!

It'll be a fake newspaper made just for the gimmicky touristy shop. Your better off going to Scotland and having a deep fried Mars bar.

My sister turns 50 so we celebrated in high fashion at Anton and Michel in Carmel. I was too busy eating to take many pictures.

My seafood fricasee with salmon ravioli , scallops and prawns in a mushroom aparagus cream sauce with chipotle relish was the best dish on the menu.  Brother-in-law law paid.  😁

That makes it taste even better when an in-law pays!
