San Juan vs Rio Seco which do you prefer and why?

I like them both equally.  I know that may not help you much.

Like 'em both.  I find them nearly identical in profile.  But I prefer the smaller (but still huge) ring gauge of the SJ.

I much prefer the San Juan.

Rio Seco.  Ginger spice taste than cream and toast, IMO

Can't go wrong with either. Just depends on the ring gauge preference.

I’ve enjoyed the San Juan more, it may just be better younger. The Rio seco I had was not ready at all

I like the creamy smoothness of the San Juan with that hint of fruitiness.

San Juan for me.  I don't care much for Rio Seco.

Not a huge Hoyo fan but I've enjoyed the RS more than the SJs I've had. I find the SJ more akin to the Epicure profile and the RS has a bit more complexity--cedar, spice, ginger.

This was what I picked up on as well. Similar to the Epi 2 which is a favourite of mine

San Juan… but both are too big. Epi 1 and Especial are similar and better.
