Haven't had enough BBF and mag46 to form an opinion either way. The BBF I've had in the past were leaning on "don't get" while the mag46 were leaning on "get". Voted no for both regardless

I put "get" on all of them.  Mag 46, Monte 4 and 2 are three that I smoke regularly.   I've only smoked a handful of BBF, but liked them and a box is on my list to get.  I also like the CoRo and have parts of 2 boxes aging and have done a good job keeping out of them to get them to the 5 year mark.  The price is on the high end I'm willing to spend on one box so I will probably split boxes with future purchases.

Coro - great

Monte 2 - never had one. But I don't like montes.

BBF - I get it but prefer BRC

Mag 46 - I don't get it, I like corona gorda, A LOT. But the mag 54 is better, especially young.

Monte 4 - one of the cigars that made me not like monte. To herbal/wood with coco and leather and not enough sweetness for my tastes.

I "get" all of them, but agree that:

1) CoRo aren't a good value proposition for my budget;

2) Monte 2s can vary wildly even within the same box;

These polls are fun!

I don't get the CoRo.  It's about the last Cohiba I would reach for and I like Cohibas

Monte 2 yep, I get it

BBF, not bad but I don't get the great love I see posted

Mag 46, I didn't get until I put a couple years into a couple of them and now I get it.

Monte 4, it's ok - I prefer the 3 and the Edmundo and of course the 2

I would have said the Monte 4 was the easiest of these options to "get" but 33% aren't getting it? Wow. Pretty much the most uncontroversial, straightforward CC out there IMO. Might not be the most consistent but it's a right down the middle classic Monte blend.

The other options are smart picks but I would have substituted the RASS for the Monte 4.

Maybe the most shocking result is the BBF being the least disliked. IMO, that cigar is far from what I'd call a "crowd pleaser."

The BBF is the only one that I don't get. Never had a Bolivar that I truly enjoyed and wanted more.
Regrettably, good sir, I am now forced to challenge you to a duel. I must defend the honor of my most beloved marca. (Or you could just send me all the Bolivar you have on hand and we'll call it square. Your call.)

Seems like People not getting CoRo comes down the value proposition? I wonder if you took that out of the equation, the percentages would be higher?  I find it a fantastic cigar, so I “get it”, but it’s not one that I’m laying down several boxes because to me there’s better value to be had in other cigars.

You nailed it for me. Fantastic cigar when its "on" = YES. Worth tying up money/inventory to stock & age = no, for MY budget.

Maybe I hit the lottery then I go deep in CoRo but here and now, unfortunately no...

Very different cigars.  Should definitely give them a try.

I agree probably should try them especially since like most of the other H Ups.

I’m full of contradictions …

I don’t get the CoRo, but I get the Siglo II.
I don’t get the HU Mag 46, but I get the HU Mag 50.

As for Monte 2, I don’t get any Montes.  Not a single one.  Garbage leather flavor and inconsistent.  Give me a Dip 2 because while they may be inconsistent, but only slightly less so, they also don’t break the bank.

BBF, on the other hand, is my favorite piramide of all time.  Best Bolivar as far as I’m concerned too!
