Classic Chicago drink. I always welcome new comers to my town with the "Chicago Handshake", a shot of Malort and an Old Style beer. So far, nobody has ever requested a second shot 🤣

Reminds me of the homemade Slivovitz our body shop manager used to bring in at Christmas time.  Pure gasoline; and he used to do a shot of it with everyone in the dealership that was willing.  He looked pretty much like the dude in the video at the end of the day.  You could manage to get one shot down but it was really hard to get the second one anywhere near your nose.  I'm gagging now as I'm typing this and I haven't had a taste of it since before 1987.  🤣
