Popular Post El Presidente Posted November 3, 2020 Popular Post Posted November 3, 2020 Full HalfWheel story : https://halfwheel.com/h-upmann-magnum-56-jars-released-some-head-to-retail/383256/ We will have some up tomorrow on 2424. No idea on pricing as yet as I haven't even looked at the buy price. It will be along the European lines I suspect. 6 1
Hammer Smokin' Posted November 3, 2020 Posted November 3, 2020 dumb question, but I'm assuming the 56 means a 56 RG? (ugh)
Habana Mike Posted November 3, 2020 Posted November 3, 2020 Like the look of these. Missed out on the Mag 46. Have the Noella. Maybe I can get the trifecta one day. 1
rckymtn22 Posted November 3, 2020 Posted November 3, 2020 If the trends continue the pricing is close to a gazillion dollars. 1
mtd057 Posted November 4, 2020 Posted November 4, 2020 I would love to grab one of these but the pricing I have seen so far doesn't give me much hope...

Agree, it’s a very nice looking, elegant-stile jar. But pricing makes the Mag46-one look like a steal. I think I paid 50-60 EUR upcharge for the jar back then, when compared to regular packaging. And it was a 30-ct! 1
NSXCIGAR Posted November 4, 2020 Posted November 4, 2020 Knokke has them for pre-order at a sphincter-tightening $1400. And these are 20s. I think the original EL Mag 56 is cheaper than that.
JohnInCleveland Posted November 4, 2020 Posted November 4, 2020 Just bring back the 56’s. I hate the RG but they are one of my favorite upmann’s. The blend is incredible. 1
MC4 Posted November 4, 2020 Posted November 4, 2020 I usually don't care much about the jar itself, but this one is a beautiful jar.
Bohemio Posted November 4, 2020 Posted November 4, 2020 Probably too expensive for me. even if the price is right the 56 rg means i would stay away. But im sure it will sold out in less than a minute, im willing to bet that someone already has the email ready.?
ChangBang Posted November 4, 2020 Posted November 4, 2020 Jar looks awesome! Never had a Mag 56, but damn 56 RG is a bit much for me
BeerPimp Posted November 4, 2020 Posted November 4, 2020 The Jar looks awesome. H Upmann is my favorite marca. But, I will go be poor somewhere else. ? I have seen some of the estimated pricing and I know it is very low and that is way out of my range.
Habana Mike Posted November 4, 2020 Posted November 4, 2020 Seen them for $825-1200 - quite a spread. You're buying the art, not the cigars....

srbuck Posted November 4, 2020 Posted November 4, 2020 Habana Mike makes a good point. also, There is nothing saying these are the same blend as the 2015 LTD. I know you can't tell from a pic but these are way lighter looking than the 15's

You're correct--it cannot be the same. The ELs use 2-year aged leaf. These ostensibly do not. So they're asking us to drop $1,000+ on 20 unknown cigars. Couldn't even stuff 25 in there. And there's no production numbers on these so who knows how rare they'll ultimately be. I'll take two boxes of SW for that price, thank you very much.

Not just ostensibly - it is a new cigar. 4 hours ago, Habana Mike said: You're buying the art, not the cigars.... HSA moved from ‘promotional’ to ‘collectible’, that’s the crux. The market has changed quite a bit during the last decade.
RichUK Posted November 4, 2020 Posted November 4, 2020 The Mag56 LE is one of my favourite cigars, I think I still have two boxes in my humidor. So tempted to try one of these new blend and see how they compare.
Salomones Posted November 4, 2020 Posted November 4, 2020 Just for Dutyfree right?Gesendet von meinem moto x4 mit Tapatalk

Hoepssa Posted November 6, 2020 Posted November 6, 2020 Flavor is with huge difference. Jar 56 is like high end version of Mag 54, I'm big fan of Mag 56 LE, and I love this jar too. 2
