Cigarsmoker81
I’m considering pulling the trigger on a partagas p2 Sevilla jar but I’m curious about other members experience with buying jars, do the cigars themselves taste any different than normal production ? finally I’m pretty sure I’m getting ripped off but do you guys know what’s the retail on Sevilla partagas p 2 jars ? bpm32
I have one that I picked up from Estanco de la Catedral in Barcelona a couple years ago. Can’t remember the exact price, but I think it came out to be about $400 US? I remember the girl at the register was horrified at that price when she asked another guy there. edit to add—$425.22 edit to add again—I believe they are regular production with five years on them, aren’t they? I’ve had a few and they are really good, but basically nice rested P2s, which is what they are.
NSXCIGAR
These are Tabacalera productions and are usually around $400 in Spain. They're nice Sevilla jars and definitely worth the premium. The cigars are standard production.
Cigarsmoker81
The ones I found are around 700, sounds like a huge premium over b&m pricing...
Akela3rd
Spanish pricing on tobacco is set by the govt so they're not able to mark up. Sent by spooky action at a distance
nKostyan
The Spanish jar is nothing more than a souvenir for me. I do not know what the principle of selection is for repackaging the regular cigars - this is a blind purchase. Unlike our host's PSP/HQ
HuffnPuffff
I bought two at around $500 each online. I think the smokes are fantastic - I really, really enjoy them. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

shippers
I brought one of the Jars in Seville this year and a couple of singles. As others have said they are just aged regular production P2s. But like other aged P2s very nice. If you can get a jar at a good price then go for it! 1
ChangBang
Might be a silly question - but can you buy these kind of jars in Seville/Spain in general? Doesn't even need the cigar theme(unless they all are) I think the jars look pretty cool!

Yeah Seville is known for its pottery/ceramics - https://www.visitasevilla.es/en/history/ceramics I think these jars are made by a company in Seville that supplies the Spanish Royal Court. At the retail price they are well worth picking up. Chuck a few Boveda in and they look after themselves.
Popular Post BrightonCorgi
Anyone serious into Habanos needs a jar; full or empty in their collection. Nice to look at and for dry boxing or storing the last couple cigars of a box to make space. 4
Habana Mike
Love jars. Probably have close to a dozen. Sady My Seville jar (Monte #3) is only the top now.
KavalanWhisky
I've always wondered this as well, love the jars and I'm yet to pull the trigger due to the premium, the Noella jar pops up all the time but its not the same as these ceramic beauties.
La_Tigre
I do like the old jars quite a bit. We have a Noellas in hostage in Havana for the unforeseen future. ? Makes me wanna say something along the lines of “I do have Prince Albert in a can...”
