Hello fellow FOHers!

Welcome to the official ranking system for the FOH Top 5 Cigars of 2019. During this study, we are looking to gather the tastiest regular production Cuban cigars that your palate has loved experiencing from 2019! I ask that you take the bias out of your votes for each marca, and judge only by your taste buds. Don’t factor in the price, smoke quality, or even consistency (all aspects aside). Taste is a very subjective attribute of cigars and we are all drawn toward our personal preferences. We all have our own sides of the spectrum, from chocolate to leather and pepper to brioche. We are not looking for flavor descriptions, but simply what is the best (vitola) to YOU. I ask that each member go to every individual marca page to vote for their Top 3 from each. Every marca that is made up of 3 or less cigars will automatically be placed in the final poll. Once this first phase of the study is completed, we will take the final results from each marca and put them in one large category of choices. The goal of this ranking system is to find what the general consensus of FOH is for the tastiest Cuban stogies of 2019! I am curious to see where we all trend, solely based on the topic of taste. We might have more in common than we all thought, in this beautiful and vast world of Cuban cigars! We are trying to get 100 votes for each, your help is greatly appreciated.

May the best cigars WIN!

PS: I want to apologize in advance for the amount of subsequent forum posts on this topic.

Finally! All of the marcas have been posted. Please go vote! The following marcas will skip the first phase of the study and be added to the final list (they all have 3 or fewer): Diplomaticos, El Rey del Mundo, Juan Lopez, La Flor de Cano, La Gloria Cubana, Quai d’Orsay, Rafael Gonzalez, Saint Luis Rey, Sancho Panza, Vegas Robaina! ?

Can't wait to see how everyone votes and what the finalists are!

Hey Gents,

Great stuff!

Have just moved all but 3 of these into Polls (as pinned posts) to avoid Waterhole logjam. John's links will still find them.

Have left Bolivar, Cuaba, Cohiba in the Waterhole, and have pinned this post for now.

Possibly best to rotate them in alphabetically till you garner the votes you need.

Let me know of any probs, if you want to discuss another workaround, etc... :cigar:

Cheers!

@JohnS and @MoeFOH great job! I like this idea a lot! We can keep them open until we get around 100 votes on each and then rotate them in. I really appreciate the help!

Curious why we can't comment on some of these? Had a word to say on one and no apparent  option to do so......

Is there not a spot to comment on the polls? I have been able to comment by going to the individual page, there it should show on the bottom section under the voting panel.

It looks like we have an average of about 40 votes per marca right now (with some highs and lows in there). If you haven’t taken the time to vote, we would great appreciate your help! Soon we will be able to release the final list for voting on the Top 5 Tastiest (Cuban) Cigars of 2019! ?

I got to the Punch and saw Double Corona was a clear leader.  Has anyone seen 2019 Double Corona regular production?  I’d love to stumble on some of they are out there.  It seems people are voting their favorite vitola and not favorite 2019 produced vitola.

I have a SEP 19 box that I acquired in Havana late last year. Not sure how many of these boxes are being exported, but they were pretty easy to find there. Same could be said about Montecristo Especial.

Good to know.  Hadn’t seen any 19s anywhere.  Now I’ll be on the hunt. I appreciate the feedback.

It looks like we are averaging roughly 70 votes per poll currently! It has been very interesting seeing the ongoing results of voting for each marca. Thank you everyone who has voted! ?
