Vintage Cheap and Cheerful - La Flor de Cano Selectos

Based on seal and other packaging clues, I am guessing these are from the 70s. Cracked feet and probably dried out, but no cost to me.

I think I would stop buying cigars if the original band wasn’t underneath. I wonder if this ridiculous law will get reversed one day or they’ll be a distinction on type of tobacco marketing

I thought the whole thing was stupid personally, but it irritated me to no end that cigars got lumped into it. I’m in a city of 500k people and I know 4 others that smoke cigars 😂 Not to mention, who am I influencing? Teenagers aren’t silly enough to buy cigars, if I gave my daughter $50 she’d go buy new jeans, not a D4!

So, there’s a bit a story to these. I bought a collection for a guy a few weeks back and these were included. I’d never heard of them before but didn’t even give it a second thought when I was told a price. I’m assuming these originally came with an outer box, he mentioned that he never kept any because he never planned on selling so didn’t have the need for them. Anyways, based on the dates of everything else I purchased from him, his recollection of details and what I can find online I think these are most certainly from the 2010 release. I’ll never know the exact date or factory but I plan to convert them all to ash so none of that really matters I guess. Anyways, long way around to say I got some cool smokes and I’m gonna smoke em 😎

I never really got deep enough to care about box codes, I’m afraid to ask why everyone cares? My rabbit hole is already pretty deep without adding a layer! 😂
