Thank you for your suggestions re a possible Asia Pacific RE for 2021.

Based on your input, we have come up with six possible options.

Use the poll and pick two :ok:

  1. Quai D’Orsay 898
  2. SLR Lancero
  3. Pot Larranaga 109
  4. LGC Lonsdale
  5. Diplomatico Sublime
  6. ERDM Julieta Number 2

I wouldn't be mad at any of those, but the Diplomatico Sublime is probably the one I'd be most likely to skip.

That's the underdog that I want to see and am voting for for the AP Regional Release. ?

Just love the 109 size, PL gets my vote

QdO and LGC got my vote. The SLR would be something I'd be very interested in as well.

The skinnier the better. Not sure why people even want 50+ rg cigars.

I'm with you on that.  I'm guessing by the history of the REs that skinny ain't phat with the RE-purchasing crowd.

Tyranny!!!

I’m hoping at some point this trend reverses and we get back more coronas, lonsdales, lanceros, Panetela, Long Panetela etc

So how badly does everyone want the LGC MdO2 back that we're essentially voting for it to be an ER?

Correct me if I am wrong, but isn't the LGC MdO2 a Dalia Vitola?

Because they're different than you and enjoy those cigars???? Oh no! Someone with different tastes!?!?!?!? And they don't see cigars as phallic symbols.

No I see sheep. Someone says bigger is better and people follow. That then results in the removal of some amazing cigars and shapes.

You are correct - the MdO2 is a dalia. But, along with the cervantes, cazadores, and anything of a similar size, it might be grouped in the general name lonsdale.

More confusing is the QD 898, as 898 refers to the packaging and not the cigar size.....  :wink2:

Thanks, always good to know that the brain is still working ?.

For me the Qdo 898 is not so confusing. I mean everyone knows the Partagas 898 and I assume that the majority knows what vitola they are (Dalia again).
