Popular Post oliverdst
Antoine Bathie says: For the first time, Quai d’Orsay Cuban cigars to be released in a very exclusive 50-cigar cabinet "Exclusivo Libano" ! This Regional Edition 2018 “Exclusivo Libano” is an initiative from Walid Saleh, General Manager of Phoenicia Trading, Habanos distributor in the Levant. The new cigar, “Duke” shape (54 x 140 mm), is named Quai d’Orsay “Baalbeck”. Indeed, since 2009, Phoenicia Trading is used to name its regional editions for Lebanon with famous Phoenician cities. So, after “Beritus”, “Sidon”, “Sur” or “Byblos”, the naming of “Baalbeck” was also relevant. Actually, Baalbeck was an historical city in the ancient Lebanon and the place with the famous temples of Jupiter and Bacchus. Total production will be limited to 1200 cabinets only. Lebanese aficionados should be able to find these Habanos in cigar shops in the coming months. 8

Ryan
I was in Beirut airport on Monday and no sign of these. They don't even have the ERDM WIH 20 yet. Plenty of Diplomatico Ammunition though. I'll be seeing Walid Saleh in a few weeks time, I hope he brings some of the Baalbecks with him. Nice packaging, I'd guess the Beirut duty-free price will be about $1,000 for the cabinet of 50. For anybody who says they'd never visit, maybe think again, I spent a few days there in September. Lovely country, lovely people, it reminded me quite a bit of Havana.
David88
It's always nice to see a 50 cab but I can't see myself going for these. I can definitely recommend a long weekend in Beirut to anyone though. I had a great time while I was there!

Beach to skiing in a couple of hours. Great food and nightlife.
