smokum Posted January 27, 2019 Author Posted January 27, 2019 Well I dont know how the hell my brain farted so bad as to put it in this forum but whatever !
aphexafx Posted January 28, 2019 Posted January 28, 2019 Wow, good luck with that! We're no strangers to sub 0 temps in Colorado, but -23 is tits cold. C&Cs are very often walking cigars and I doubt you'll be going on many of those this week. I think the topic fits the forum just fine. ? We have clear skies and sunshine all week. ?
egoo33 Posted January 28, 2019 Posted January 28, 2019 Outside Chicago snow hasn’t let up and the bottom is about to fall out over the next two days looking like Chicago is going to be the coldest place on the Planet Wednesday ?. Get to experience what -30F really feels like Current view from my driveway 3
Souperchi Posted January 29, 2019 Posted January 29, 2019 I feel ya! Supposed to be -38 overnight the next few days with -50 windchill. Awesome!!!
terrantheman Posted January 29, 2019 Posted January 29, 2019 North of ChiTown and it’s a winter wonderland?
Jbhunter223 Posted January 29, 2019 Posted January 29, 2019 @smokum in the South west burbs here, so feeling your pain. Work already decided to be close on Wednesday, so I got that going for me..... 1
alloy Posted January 29, 2019 Posted January 29, 2019 This is why I moved to Texas. None of that white crap falling from the sky and temp's in the 40-70 degree range. Y'all can have the north! ❄️ 1
1fastmach1 Posted January 29, 2019 Posted January 29, 2019 Colder than a well diggers ass here as well. Not exactly -23 but -7 is cold enough.
Rrm7284 Posted January 29, 2019 Posted January 29, 2019 In Chitown too. Time for the shorties!Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk 1
Phillys Posted January 29, 2019 Posted January 29, 2019 -20C (-4F) and -35C (-31F) with the wind chill here, it's brutal! 1
teewinot Posted January 29, 2019 Posted January 29, 2019 Balmy here in western Wyo. Not unusual to have a week straight of minus 20 F though. Raised in the Midwest...hard time feeling bad for those I left behind. It’ll be over soon!
MD Puffer Posted January 29, 2019 Posted January 29, 2019 The underlings have pestered me since last week about this (as if this storm will be a major cataclysmic event in central Alabama). Finally, I hit upon an answer that let the sweet sound of silence ring through..."Unless there's a state sanctioned road closure, you are expected to be at work on time as usual."
cigcars Posted January 29, 2019 Posted January 29, 2019 *In Kentucky we're going into the teens. Whenever we reach 28 degrees in this season, as far as we're concerned we have a heatwave
skalls Posted January 29, 2019 Posted January 29, 2019 Fargo here, -16f, -46 wind-chill this morning. My ass went from being nice and toasty (heated seats are amazing) to being nearly frostbit from walking into work.
tsolomon Posted January 29, 2019 Posted January 29, 2019 It's a little chilly here in Central Florida with a high of 65 today, but back in the 70s this weekend and all of next week. Not missing the snow and crappy weather back in Maryland at all. 3
Puros Y Vino Posted January 29, 2019 Posted January 29, 2019 Toronto here. So far this winter there's been maybe two snowfalls. Nothing too bad. Otherwise, it's been a dry, cold winter. But. Yesterday's snowfall made up for it. I spent two hours last night shoveling. It kept snowing and it looks like I'll be out there again today sometime. 2
mrretrohale Posted January 29, 2019 Posted January 29, 2019 Went to work in -33°c real feel -40°c apparently it's gotten too cold to snow here.
Whisky91 Posted January 29, 2019 Posted January 29, 2019 The cold is coming my way. Tomorrow’s wind chill -30 F. Soooo thrilled ?. Is it spring yet?
