Popular Post El Presidente
Internal testing of FOH Auctions over the Christmas break has been largely successful (huge thanks to Ben and Steve ) All going well we will be inviting selected members (mostly with extensive lockers) to log in and trial the system come the week of the 14th of January. We will have you uploading product, bidding on product, buying dummy product ...checking the back end email/messaging, payment process etc. Ben and Steve will oversee and interact with you during the process. Our aim is to have FOH Auctions fully launched February 1st. If anything serious pops up, it may be delayed a week or so. For now, we are on schedule. For those who are not are of what we have been working on. FOH Auctions has been designed as a global exchange of aged Cuban Cigars for members of the Friends of Habanos community. You will need to be a member of FOH to participate. Stage 1 of FOH Auctions will facilitate the exchange of Cuban cigars as held by members in their FOH lockers (cigars need to be a minimum of 3 years of age). This ensures provenance and will allow us to fine tune the FOH Auction process over the coming months. Stage 2 of FOH Auctions will permit approved members to list stock held outside of the locker system. Stage 3 of FOH Auctions will be a 24/7 global cigar exchange. Our vision is to deliver a transparent cigar exchange where technology and member vigilance come together to deliver aged and vintage cigars in a secure trading environment. I will provide another update on the 14th. Hold off on any technical questions until then. Naturally 24:24 isn't affected. 20

Give them 30 days, then auction them off, if they are still noncompliant. Problem solved.... It's not like they haven't had time to remedy the situation.

Anyone who is or has been a client (happy on both sides) of FOH over the years. 2. FOH members who have not purchased through FOH previously may be required to provide additional documentation in a one off manner to verify identity and address.

dimi68
How would a sale between different countries work? (duties, tax)? Example Seller USA Buyer AUST

I'd expect that since this is all locker inventory that someone in AUS might have to pay the local taxes/duties and outside of Aus; nada?

I thought that he would open it up to all sales eventually, not just locker? As for duties on any side, I imagine there should be a waiver or something that everyone signs to say that as a buyer, you should be responsible.
