I’m just waiting for the chance to get in on 24.  Between mommas tight purse string and upcoming birthdays, I feel I may never get to get a psp offering....

I’m probably a sufferer of that affliction. That’s okay though...it’s not like there isn’t a market to sell them if need be.

I am deeply infected by it.  Currently seeking Lanceros, Monte Especials, Sir Winston.  Always on the lookout for other skinnies but have been a pig with Fundadores, Monte 1s and Monte Especiales #2 lately... But clearly not a problem...

The cigar equivalent of GAS - which I have also been accused of. Certainly.

Although, I'm not sure sure its an acquisition syndrome, as much as treating cigar purchases as if I am always stocking up for an apocalypse - kind of like the cigar equivalent of a "prepper". (PS: NOT a prepper! No offence, but I don't want to be tarred with that brush.)

I like to ensure I always have a 10 year smoking supply, enough to last the average ageing period of a box, even though there is nothing stopping me from buying more. However, this may indeed change one day here in the nanny state of Australia.

*I had that condition, and very badly too. But my wallet began to have other ideas and its lack of C.A.S. funds ability has pretty much calmed me down. I don't want them any less, but my ability to indulge has been severely compromised :frown:

The 24:24 is like crack. I'm down to just looking for specific cigars now rather than hoovering up good deals on stuff I already have, but its hard. Missed some I've been trying to get my hands on, but am at least relatively deep on some like the fundadores that I find to be sublime.

Well i didn't until i found FOH and 24:24.  I'm a NC smoker just getting into cubans.  I always had a budget and stuck to it on average I buy a box every 2-4 months.  My system is write down top 5 boxes that i want and when i had the cash i'd purchase whichever box i wanted most.   So sat down did a lot of reading over old post and wrote down which boxes i'd like to buy.   I don't know how but Rob must of somehow gotten hold of this list cause seems every 24:24 something on the list popped up.  I've been able to resist, but times the price is too good to pass up and i pulled the trigger, been saved a few times by others beating me too it.

My all-time dream purchase probably be cohiba esplendidos, I'd like em for holiday and special occasions

I have it real bad. Been on deployment for 3 months, already bought 7 boxes that I can't even smoke or look at! Told my wife 2 days ago, "don't worry sweetheart the cigar boxes will stop coming until I get home from deployment, I've purchased everything I need for the year," and then Rob goes and posts everything that I forgot I needed the next day! Two days ago the last box arriving on my doorstep was the PSP Partagas Serie No. 1, now the last box for today will be the PSP CoRo that were posted yesterday!

Lol what a disease. At least with this disease we can sell everything for more than what we paid a year down the road keep buying cigars and "investing in our future."

Ummm, this is a cigar forum, if grown men/women are keen on spending part of their day reading/writing about cigars on the internet, you can believe that a (maybe large) majority has the C.A.S... Hard! Unless of course they have a very well stocked humidor, even that does not preclude it.

I am straight up embarrassed to admit how many boxes are in the air right now.  But I feel like a kid on Christmas.  Can't stop now ?

Once you purchase a box do you immediately begin thinking of what you'd like to buy next? Does the thought of a good box burn a hole in your pocket/wallet? You might have Cigar Acquisition Syndrome!

What's the next box on your wishlist? Or the all-time purchase you'd like to make?

Sounds like a nice way to label an addiction (of which I am a willing victim).

Give it time, junkies will be telling their doctors and families, "I have heroin acquisition syndrome"...

My wife said no more cigars when she looked in my humidor yesterday....don't know what I am gonna do or say when the 9 boxes currently in transit arrive ?

My wallet is thankful I live in Canada.

Our shipping/duty nightmares keep me from spending $1,000's from here.

Every order is a gamble. Never know how much is going to be added :(

I just keep thinking that tobacco in any form is going to be harder and more expensive to acquire in the future, so it's best get as much as I can now!

I have recently withdrew half of my savings out of shares to buy cigars. Made a tidy profit on all the shares I sold.the last two days the share market has tanked and I'm down 15 percent on what money i have still invested.

Buying cigars has actually saved me money it would seem!
