Thanks, @99call! These Scotches are exceptional, and this reminds me why I really like Single Malt Whiskies as much as I enjoy Cuban cigars 😃

Springbank 12 CS Batch 25 never bores me and it always tastes fantastic without being aggressive despite of being 57.2% cask strength 👍

Yep, there is zero bullshit, or invented 'rarity' to those three whiskies. They are all just extremely well crafted, honest and full of flavour, which as you pointed out, is also what we want with our cigars.

Great wedding weekend! My dad turns 90 in July, my mum 85 this year. They danced away until closing time.  Ben and Hattie were magnificent. My youngest Brother Rick (left) went "to town

Had a good fall steelhead trip recently. Went 13 for 13 on steelhead in 2 and a half days. Excellent weather! The young angler James was successful as well!

Went to Cuba, smoked good cigars, ate good food, saw cool stuff.

Much agreed! They're absolutely well crafted with honesty and endeavor rather than being artificially super rare whiskies (I was disappointed when the Macallan ended up being one of the heavily special edition focused whiskies). It's the same reason why I prefer classic CC staples like Lusitanias over cigars with unnecessarily fancy packaging 👍.
