name your favourite TV character. can be for any reason.

for me, Captain Raymond Holt of the 99!

andre braugher, the actor, has nailed this and i cannot imagine anyone else playing the role. i started trying to describe holt for those who don't know him but impossible to do justice. gave up.

others?

Yes! This guy makes that show and he’s one of the best characters on television. Truly well done.

Also Adrien Pimento is pretty good.

Ash Williams - the perfect idiot. Too bad the show started to rapidly decline in season 2; haven't seen any of 3 yet.

Maybe Thomas Sullivan Magnum or Shane from The Walking Dead after yhat

fuzz, buffy was a sensational show. so clever. people bagged it thinking teenage girl fighting vampires and sure, there was some nonsense but they led the way for years. some of the one liners were so clever. http://www.gosocial.co/19-greatest-one-liners-buffy-vampire-slayer-copy/

there were some crackers but a lot of the time, you had to follow the characters.

two i remember -

the first time willow met angel, when he was trying to be good but brooding and scary. she walked around him a few times while he growled at her and she looked up and said, 'so you are a real vampire?' he looked down and grunted 'yes'.

she just looked up and said, 'how do you shave?'

i spat my dinner across the room.

then cordy was talking about thinking that she might have heard something evil and explaining this - "it is like i have a sixth sense". giles, as dry as ever, just mumbles, 'no, that would be one of the five'.

i know that these might seem blah to non-fans but i loved that show. and buffy was seriously hot.

but for me, it started to wobble end of 3rd season, mid 4th. the last couple were nowhere near as good. i mean buffy and spike? come on!

Tony Soprano.

I have watched all of the seasons numerous times. It's probably the only show that has spoken to me on so many levels. I have watched it when I'm happy and more often when I've been having the blues.

James Gandolfini absolutely nailed the part.

Unbelievable,  that it's almost twenty years since the first show.

No argument here. Buffy was great. The characters and banter were very well written.
