stogieluver Posted November 15, 2016 Posted November 15, 2016 Unless things have improved lately, "spotty" internet service would be nirvana. Combine that with a busy schedule of drinking, smoking, carousing, and other general debauchery, and...well...it's just a lot to ask.

How did I miss this? Definitely very interested. No misses in the LCDH Specialist release line for me and the Vitola is nice. 1

Fugu Posted November 17, 2016 Posted November 17, 2016 I have the dim feeling it's a mixed blessing here. While certainly looking nice and being an attractive format, on the other hand you'd have to ask yourself, with so many of the very similar sized excellent Punch regular-line Coronas Cordas that have been cut in the past, why now a double banded in a shiny 10er box?... Well, at least let's hope price-wise they will be more along the lines of the RAS and the HURR rather than the Torreon. (and nicer than the Maduro 1....) 1

Pics aren't even necessary just a quick snippet even! Well... Went to Miramar and Hotel Nacional. Most Maduros were cleaned out by overseas foreigners, namely the Chinese. That is what the staff told me at Nacional. Saw some Behike's lines but picked up a few 25 boxes of Monte #2's #4's and Cohiba Robustos instead. Internet is only good at the larger hotels, but it was nice to be cut off to the world for a little while.

Cohiba007 Posted November 18, 2016 Posted November 18, 2016 SLRs on shelves but cannot be purchased by us average consumers
Lotusguy Posted November 18, 2016 Posted November 18, 2016 SLRs on shelves but cannot be purchased by us average consumers As usual. Stay tuned to see them pop up at certain vendors in UK and Belgium for 350 Pounds/400 euros.

dshapiro Posted November 18, 2016 Posted November 18, 2016 Unreal. Mitchell gets a case of cuba regionals.

Lotusguy Posted November 18, 2016 Posted November 18, 2016 Already on Facebook for 280 euros plus shipping. A bargain.

I remember when we were talking about Dip Excelencias Cuba last year and there were some people who were happy to pay that amount because otherwise they couldnt try it. I hope they keep on being happy paying 3 times the release price and thanking for that.
HarveyBoulevard Posted November 19, 2016 Posted November 19, 2016 If you people would stop telling me how much the release price is/was... ...I'd be fine paying what they are asking!!!!!!!!! Ignorance is bliss gentlemen. 2
JohnS Posted November 19, 2016 Posted November 19, 2016 Yes, it is frustrating. Is it true to state that all the previous Habanos Specialist Releases, the SCdLH Torreon, H.Upmann Connoisseur A and Partagas Maduro No.1, have had a 'premium' mark-up on their pricing?
fabes Posted November 19, 2016 Posted November 19, 2016 That varnished box alone screams mark-me-up! 1
