El Presidente Posted July 31, 2015 Posted July 31, 2015 I had a great afternoon with PolarBear (Andrew) and his mate David on the deck this afternoon. I felt bad simply because i have the Flu and couldn't indulge as much as usual. Still, 4 bottles of wine drunk, some great cigars...the doctor can work it out at 8:30am tomorrow. I will take it easy this weekend but what are you up to? Let us live vicariously! i was hoping for a Sunday at the beach with Di. Long walk, breakfast and then finding a sheltered spot to laze for the afternoon with the occasional fly cast for a lazy flathead. Still a possibility. Tomorrow night cooking up a Paella storm. Maybe some family/friends around. Fill us in on what you have planned!

I think my wife has some sort of jewelry party she's going to on Saturday which will give me plenty of time to do all of the above.

The lord of war is a work Monday so I can suffer in my jocks in peace and quiet.
madandana Posted July 31, 2015 Posted July 31, 2015 Starting off my Daughters wedding week with bachlorette/stag partys. We've had a very busy summer at work and time has gotten away from us. I plan on taking most of next week off to take it all in and enjoy it. I can't beleive my baby's getting married. 2

Brought a few C&Cs for my review thread, a few cigarillos for the wife. Hoping for an opportunity to enjoy a cigar in the woods all by my own at some point!

Just found out that my wife and I are having a third child (unexpectedly...Oops!). Had been debating on that, and apparently the Big Guy In The Sky made the decision for us. Wife wanted three, I was good with two...but the more the merrier, I guess! As a result, I plan to imbibe heavy quantities of red wine coupled with (Friday night) a Monte #2 and on Saturday an Upmann No. 2. Oh, and start looking for a minivan. 2

She is at the Dry Tortugas National Park right now ! Spend a week with cigars on the beach and then DRIVE this little girl home ! The day we get back I move my youngest son in to his first year of University. Thank goodness I have a humidor already overflowing with my Czar stash. This tuition crap is killing me.

Lotusguy Posted July 31, 2015 Posted July 31, 2015 I f'ed up my finger yesterday cleaning a coffee stain off the carpet so now I can't go biking for 6 weeks. Will just veg on my deck. Dangerous tasks like cleaning carpets should be left to the professionals

Dinner tonight with friends then we shall head back here for wine and cigars
