Smoked 1 Upmann PC from a PSP box which was meh..

Sure hope it blossoms soon. shead.gif

Soon? Better give it a few years. I have a UPE MAY 13 and just last month, I started to taste the beginning of some of the Upmann creaminess. Sadly, this is one of those 2-5 year sticks.

When you're ready to dump them out of impatience, lmk!

Most of petit coronas smoke well ROTT, and I guess there are exceptions.

My 2 Upmann PC PSP boxes are from LUB MAY 14 - one in OLH and one in my humidor.

I guess they are going to go for a long nap.. sleeping.gif

Upmanns as a whole tend to need a few years, but it's always worth it. Rafael Gonzalez PC are another PC that need time - they just lay there and mock me and my impatient nature!

Sometimes, it isn't you, but the cigar. Would you buy a Ferrari built at the Honda factory? So why buy a Hoyo from a Vegueros factory? Why is this such a hard concept?

I think I may speak for some, but I personally struggle to identify box codes aside from the pretty obvious El Laguito. Is there a resource I'm unaware of? Thanks.

Same here. I would hazzard a guess that UPE was the Upmann factory in late 2012 and 2013, but that's about it. I'm sure there's a historical account of them up to 2012 somewhere...?

Yeh I agree totally it's all down to tastes. I know some people love them. I know Kenny G is a fan of them biggrin.png

next you'll have me in a dallas cowgirls t-shirt or waving a waratahs flag.

you're going to paint with them?

Only a mild loss with the autocorrect today, last week I went for a Chinese at my GF's parents, got back home and decided to send a text message thanking her mum for having us for tea and managed to tell her thanks for the shredded ****.

i love my spellcheck. it keeps trying to turn 'cheque' into 'tequila'. saves me the effort!

mind you, it can't spell 'spellcheck'.

CaptainQuintero's link to that thread on Factory codes is something I was looking at a week ago myself because my Cohiba box was coded ULA Dic 2013. I tried to find the factory online but after reading that thread I realised it's a futile task.

If you buy from a LCDH that sends you the first box of the stash, without checking anything, you get exactly the same chance to get a mediocre box… I have seen mediocre boxes in every LCDH I have visited…

Yep..so true

I wouldn't say there is nothing there young, I distinctly remember a taste not dissimilar to sucking hot vomit through a tramp's crusty underpants
