best preparation for a night of heavy drinking & smoking

there have been threads about the best recovery food, what about the best preparation food?

while most people eat a heavy meal before going out, i eat only a light dinner but prepare my stomach with a teaspoon of cumin, 7-8 dashes of tabasco and lots of water. please share your secrets.

I rarely get hungover so I may not be the expert but for me it's always been about hydrating. Mucho water all night and a big jug next to the bed so when I wake up in the middle of the night I will chug some.

I did MORE than my fair share of heavy drinking at a recent bachelor party weekend and they guys there swore by B-12 vitamin tablets. Just take a couple during the night of drinking, one before bed and one when you wake up and they say they don't show any signs of hangover as well.

take an ibuprofen a few hours before. works magic. prevents headaches as a result of too much smoke and liquor and calms the nerves. If you want no drugs involved, eat a heavy burger or a big meal of pasta and you'll be solid.

One thing I read some time back was that caviar has properties in it that prevent a hangover from too much liquor. And it doesn't have to be that $85 an ounce stuff either. Just plain, cheap Romanov lumpfish roe on the grocery store shelves for about $7 to $8 a jar will do. And it does work.

This plus full stomach, plenty of sleep the night before and about 20 years youth serum.

Eat a greasy meal (helps sober you up, if that's what you're going for) and drink a Gatorade or Pedialyte. Both those have all the electrolytes you need to restore your system and get back to normal. Throw some Aleve (naproxen) in there, with a little Dramamine to prevent the puking and you're literally living the dream.

Eat a couple slices of bread, or a sandwich 1 hour before drinking (something that will absorb the alcohol in your stomach).. Also, just spread your drinks our with water, and before you go to bed, drink 10-12 oz of water... You'll be golden

I don't prep much when I drink I drink presses (half mix half water) or just mixed with water or just straight. I found out in my 20's that it was the sugar in the beers and pop that left me feeling like a total bag of shite the next day. As for smoking I don't very often smoke when I'm out never get the chance.
