El Presidente Posted August 26, 2014 Posted August 26, 2014 Cigars you have recently yearned for.......but have no more. Current or discontinued. I was at a mates place for dinner Saturday night and just hankered for a full bodied cigar pre dinner. Sweeping views over the city, river and a glass of fine red will do that to you. I wished I had a Partagas Connie 3 or a Bolivar Bonitas on me. I wish I had boxes of both. I miss those cigars. Full bodied little powerhouses that they were....or that my memory tells me they were
Sqwints Posted August 26, 2014 Posted August 26, 2014 Oh man it's good to back here with you guys. Yes I miss those they were in a league of there own for sure. Those Ps4's are not bad but still not like those. Sqwints
PapaDisco Posted August 26, 2014 Posted August 26, 2014 Crap! I miss just about anything I order! I get a box, I likey the box, but by the time it's rested in my humi for 3 months or longer, and I've sampled a few, the box code and date are no longer available. That's what would be so brilliant about putting specific rollers with specific tobacco estates with specific factories and blenders. You'd at least have a shot at getting a Partagas (or whatever) that was rolled by Partagas and blended with estate raised leaf.
cigcars Posted August 26, 2014 Posted August 26, 2014 * Por Larranaga Lonsdales * Punch Black Prince * Ramon Allones Lonsdales * Fonseca Invictos * Los Statos de Luxe Brevas/Selectos All of these above have I shedded a tear at their discontinuation 2
shlomo Posted August 26, 2014 Posted August 26, 2014 Dip 4 is the only one I missed the boat on when they were discontinued. I dont have many of my other long gone favorites, but I do have some luckily. 1

Laxman Posted August 26, 2014 Posted August 26, 2014 RS 11 and 12's missed the box on these as well as the Partagas Lonsdales.
ImTripN2 Posted August 26, 2014 Posted August 26, 2014 Boli & HDM Coronas, Punch RS11s &12s. Still have some Dip4s and BCEs so I don't miss them..... yet
jdo2110 Posted August 26, 2014 Posted August 26, 2014 A box of BRC I had from 2008. They were/are some of the most delicious CCs I've ever had. I don't know the code, but it, along with a box of M2, were the first boxes I ever bought. To this day I haven't had a BRC match. I haven't had a '13 or '14 version, but I'd be very curious to try them as '13 was such a good year overall. I'm admittedly a little gun shy because every one I've had since that initial box had been close to terrible. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
dangolf18 Posted August 26, 2014 Posted August 26, 2014 Most recently I'd say Cohiba Exquisitos and '09 Trinidad Reyes.

ag794516 Posted August 26, 2014 Posted August 26, 2014 I wish I had some LGC Tainos or Saint Luis Rey Churchills.
Stogieninja Posted August 26, 2014 Posted August 26, 2014 Lots of things listed above I'd like to try but never got the chance, or I wasn't smoking when they came out. From what I've had the pleasure of smoking, I'd say an '08 Bolivar Corona Gigantes, and some Bolivar Royal Corona Tubos I had, possibly from the same year. Also, more of the Monte 2 my friend Ben brought me back from Germany. He didn't know anything about the box code, but it had an old style band and is to this day one of the most memorable smokes of my life.
SmokinLightning Posted August 26, 2014 Posted August 26, 2014 Dip 4... my goto smoke with morning coffee on the weekends.
in0gravity Posted August 26, 2014 Posted August 26, 2014 Quintero Churchills for me. What a great cigar
