Cisco
I'm always on the look out for a good C&C and I'm wondering why there is little love of the ERDM Demi Tasse here. It seems like a cigar that would be up a lot of people's alley. Is that the cigar needs a lot of time to show its stuff? Is it not enough cigar for the price? Anyone like these, if so, why? Are they representative of the ERDM profile? Thanks!

shlomo
i cant believe thsse havent been cut yet. tough to roll, limited profit matgin (like robs most recent question) yet i do not find too many similarities between the dt and thd cs for instance. the dt is alovely tiny guy, but, for me anyways, it takes toomuch work to make sure i dont burn it too hot and too fast. stukibuilt
I haven't had other ERDM so I can't comment on the profile similarities, but I do enjoy the demis as a quick smoke. More satisfying than a club... Sent from my mind using telekinesis and Tapatalk.
Blakes
What Habanos has done to ERDM completely baffles me almost more than any other marca. If you take a look at the vitolas that made up the marca the vast majority are between 42rg and 26rg with the exception of the tanios and gran corona which are 47rg and 46rg respectively... out of all of these vitolas Habanos decided to keep the demi tasse, don't get me wrong its a lovely little cigar which I enjoy but very limited by its size. Then the choix supreme??? which seems crazy, its by far the odd one out. surely it can't be a good representative of the true profile of ERDM.... and going by most peoples luke warm reviews, Its not! Just keeping the PC would have made more sense and kept interest in a once loved marca. Habanos...... give your head a wobble!!!
khomeinist
DT, PC, GC, and Gde would be an amazing line-up. What HSA has done to ERDM and Partagas has really affected how seriously I take the cigar game.
Maplepie
What HSA has done to ERDM has really affected how seriously I take the cigar game. i read it as 'cigar name' which i would agree more on. ERDM used to really be a great marca with everything linedup almost perfectly.... now i don't even know what they have. all the regular productions are all so damn 'nah' that it's not even worth it anymore. however, the regionals before were FANTASTIC. Balthasars, Vikingnos, Choix De l'Epoqueand hopefully: the Infantes. but infantes i really don't think it'd be any better than the Choix Supreme
finecigar
Favorite short smoke of mine. Go through boxes so quick. Not to deceive at its size, though- they pack flavor and complexity. Well rolled for such a size, also!

The ones you listed are fine. I would certainly prefer having the PC, GC, and GdE back in regular or semi-regular production particularly the GdE.... FFS HSA....
CaptainQuintero
Not particularly cheap but certainly cheerful I still have fond memories of the PC, the last one I had was like porridge with golden syrup mixed in...
Maplepie
I still have fond memories of the PC, the last one I had was like porridge with golden syrup mixed in... really miss the PC too: any age really but they used to be cheap! good ol' fiddy cabbies used to be one of the best things on the market back then
JimC
Been burning through a box of Demi Tasse this winter... just have to smoke em sloooow or they tend to heat up.
subport
When I got the box (lar abr 13) tried after few weeks. I wasn't impressed so took it away. Found them around october again and felt better but still not too much to say... Well I have just smoked one again tonight and bang. Way better. Altough still needs 6-12 months or so imo. But definitely fall in love this time. Great lil smoke, packed flavours. So on my side I can say didn't like it fresh but getting there with some age on them. Can hardly wait and revisit few months later.
RijkdeGooier
ERdM beautiful smokes with age. Like all regular production; DT, LC, CS, GdE and of course the magical Tainos. Just all very refined with proper aging - otherwise mostly duds...
rhcolbert
I like em okay. Fan of erdm so I'm a lil biased.
canucks6024
Burned through a '11 box. Little bitterness if rushed. Lots of toasted tobacco, long finish which I love. Smokes much longer than one would expect.

fabes
I really enjoy these! Gonna order another box or two so when I get to them they will be nice and proper!
Maplepie
Don't need Lunch Clubs when these are around. They're worth buying on sale and tossing in the bottom of your humidor for a year or three. Do this with 80 bucks every year and you can easily have a great selection of winter smokes. If you can find aged ones now (which shan't be too hard). then start this year. The only Lunch Clubs i've had were from 2005. SFX box coded and they were alright. Nothing a DT can't replicate...
