Anybody up for a Worldwide FOH Destination "Conference" or Cruise??? We could get some great group rates probably, and if it's a hit, we can make it an annual "conference" with a different destination every year!. Smokers, including those enjoying cigars, are confined to certain places on the ship. Might be troublesome. I voted for London. Really neat place to visit. Skyfall Posted November 7, 2013 Author Share Posted November 7, 2013 I voted Bahamas because I think it would be fun to have a beach destination as well as a casino to enjoy, and I don't care for some of the other areas in the Caribbean that have casinos - (if that's what you want to call them). A big ass FOH real life poker tourney would be a blast! Bahamas is also a easy trip to make for all of the US, Canadian, UK members and enticing enough for the ones farther away to try and make the trip too. Fly direct or to Atlanta or Miami and get a connector and you are there in no time. I also like the idea of a cruise, which would have a casino, we would just have to pick the right one that would allow smoking. (they do exist) Mexico or (other Caribbean all inclusive) in addition to a great group rate, would probably be the most value for your buck. I will confirm the dates in the next few weeks unless someone else already has the details. The West Australian crew are locked in so I am looking at taking some 10-20 Aussies out of here. A coupe of things on the itineraries excluding the parties at my place : Visit to Pinar and Prieto's magnificent finca. : Day on the beach/bar/music/BBQ : Blind tasting with Hamlet. Just to let you know, there is a movement gathering steam to run the Havana marathon (Marabana) that week. Couple of people already "signed up" for marathon/half-marathon. I saw something recently where a runner described it as the "only marathon he has run where the participants hand out water bottles to the locals on the route!" He wasn't joking.
