in0gravity
Interesting...I suppose they made some extra cigars and the "limited" factor of the boxes has disappeared...Ah HSA, selling its soul for profits at every turn.... Or they just released only half the volume in boxes the first time around and the other half in the jar this time around. Same has been done with the Juan Lopez Distinguidos ER Germany. 600 boxes of 25 cigars and 600 Jars

liuzzi
Not sure if I need glasses but why does it say 25 Selectos Finos on the box and 30 on the jar?
Mr. Japan
It is a commercial business of italian distributor. The Jar is empty and they are asking that customer buys 2 Box la Escepcion at 335 euro each plus one empty jar at 100 euro. This means that you can put 30 cigars in teh jar and smoke another 20 for 770 euro!
Smallclub
I'm lost… What do you get for 430€ then, Gino?
Mr. Japan
I'm lost… What do you get for 430€ then, Gino? Nothing...it's been my initial mistake :-) Tobacconist said 2 box and one empty jar all together for 770 euro:-) They made 2000 box, sold on teh market in almost two years 1600 and now remaining 400 with 200 jars. Puros Y Vino
So it is nothing more than an empty jar that you can put your own cigars in? Or am I confused? You have to buy two boxes, the empty jar and then you can fill it with 30 cigars. Or......you can buy a jar with 30 cigars for 650 Euros. (confirmed with LCDH in Italy)
CaptainQuintero
Sounds like you get an empty jar and two full boxes in a bundle. They made 200 of these bundles with the remaining 400 boxes and 200 jars. Each bundle costs 770 euro. I think
Dara
So did Habanos organise production the jar or did Diadema arrange it to sell the last 400 boxes? It's a thing of beauty....

CanuckSARTech
Agreed with pretty much all that's been said here. Wish I had the coin to get one of these to go with my other boxes. However, if there was anyway to even just get the jar outright for $150 or so then, I'd be soooooo game for that! Frank, why don't you look into the hook-up with our fine friend from afar?!?!? Yup....and one more thing that Erin will kill me for....
kuma
I guess this is a question that can be filed under "dumb questions" from a novice. How does one go about obtaining a box or two without going to the land of wine, saints and fast autos?

Smallclub
"the area"? Italy? Anyway I doubt italian tobacconists would agree to ship an empty jar when Diadema's plan is to sell 2 boxes + 1 jar to a maximum of 200 customers…
CaptainQuintero
I like the jar's box more than the jar very funky How much for a box? Anyone? :D
El Presidente
It really looks like a beautiful Jar Hat's off to Diadema for bringing the concept of both the cigar (excellent) and the jar to reality.
