Broken Feet...Poor Quality Cigars Anyone?

Is anyone else having problems with the quality of cigars they've been receiving from Rob these days? It seems that each and every box I order, and I order quite a few, have several broken feet. As in, there's a large split running up the cigar wrapper making them absolute rubbish.

I probably wouldn't even have mentioned it but its a constant and consistent problem with every single box that I order.

Not sure this is the best form to complain on the forum Rob supplies us about his product.

If you have an issue shot him an email, he will mend what needs to be mended.

also, split cigars can occur due to shipping conditions, AU to Canada surely has some effect, I assume based on the top form of product I have received for the past couple of years they are not "fishing these cigars out from the bottom of the barrel".

Do you have a significant other? Are they aware that you have this hobby? Perhaps ask them to stop kicking your packages across the yard when they arrive... I find that usually solves the problem.....

Seriously though, that's unfortunate and could be the result of your shipping route/carriers, can't imagine they would be put in post to you that way multiple times....

No problems at all & i've bought alot of boxes (12) over the last year off FOH ,& found that Rob,Smithy & Di not only sell the best quaity of Cigars, but also service & advice is second to none!

Sorry to hear that your having problems,but if you give FOH a email or phone them you would find out what i'm talking about!

Have to agree with the above comments. Never had anything but great quality and service from FOH.

Contacting someone directly would be a much better way to find a resolution. I find it very difficult to believe they would supply sub standard products

Whilst I don't doubt that you are having problems, I do question your discretion. As others have said, have you spoken to Rob yet? If not, then you are going about this the wrong way.

One thing I've learned: You can be on this forum without using rob as a vendor but you won't have a good time if you are airing your dirty laundry about what should be an issue between yourself and the vendor.

I can understand the desire to vent frustrations but doing that on the vendors website is like going to the Yankees official forum and telling everyone how you are disappointed in their performance and you are thinking about becoming a red socks fan.

I'll admit that my post wasn't very tactful...hence some of the editing. As such, I offer my apologies to Rob and *****INT.

I fired off an angry post at 1AM after consuming large quantities of alcohol and that usually ends up with me saying sorry to someone. However, I won't apologize to any fanboys or hero worshippers....you know who you are. My hard earned money deserves a quality product in return. This isn't a Red Sox game and I don't suck up to anyone for any reason. I'm not now nor have I ever been a diplomat. I don't believe in political correctness....I believe in honesty. Political correctness is reserved for p*ssies, politicians and the gutless. I'm a stand up guy who often shoots from the hip without thinking.

I love the service that Rob provides. He to, seems like a standup guy that doesn't pull any punches and I truly respect him for that. But I also believe that my cigars should be inspected for quality before they are shipped. This isn't a baseball game and I'm not ordering hotdogs here.

I believe my frustration got the best of me on this one. But I also believe my frustration is justified.

In the future, I'll try to be more tactful for the sake of both Rob and *****INT.
