Thanks Tino, i was actually looking to do that recipe. But im considering getting a small kebab machine to be as authentic as i could. Hehehehe.

Small kebab machine = hand turned skewer and torch lighter. Awesome!

Picked up some great sushi-grade fish today. 1 pound of hamachi, 2 pounds of maguro, tray of uni and some aji.

My lunch sampler. A lot cheaper than a sushi restaurant and helluva lot fresher.

When Uni is good, it's really good! When not so fresh, not so good.....

Local sushi chef (Circle Sushi/Roswell) makes a Nigiri Uni & Hotate mix that's out of this world.

Best Uni I can recall was in Lahaina at Sansei's. I swear they must've just gone across the street and pulled the urchin right out of the sea.

I'm right there with you on the yellow tail and Poke too, nice lunch selection.

Thanks. Yellowtail is one of my favorite fish. Uni was super fresh. Horrible when it's not fresh.

OMG, love it - shits all over Black Puddin'.

This must indeed be the King of Sausages.

Fresh Rosemary, Sage, olive oil and garlic marinated heritage, home grown, thick cut pork chop. Grilled. With a sweet potato, leek, portabella mushroom, rosemary and fig hash, accompanied by a herb and butter rice.
