BENN Posted February 2, 2012 Posted February 2, 2012 LAst weekend Swedens biggest annual herf was held in Gävle and hosted by me and 2 of my friends for the second time. The importer of Diplomatico rum here in Sweden was there and we got the chanse to do a tasting of the 3 diplomaticos. The 8 year, the reserva exclusiva and the ambassador......after that a group blindtasting (Punch Punch) and after that 8 hours of even more fun... AND the cigar auction that we held raised almost 5000 usd for doctors without borders....... Hope you guys enjoy the pics Prez thank you for donating to this great cause.

warren516 Posted February 2, 2012 Posted February 2, 2012 Looks like a great time. I do have 2 questions. First - where did you get the Flying Dog Beer? It's made in my town, here in Frederick Maryland, USA. Second - Not knowing Sweeden, how far was this from Källna, Skåne Län, Sweden I have friends there and was thinking that I could visit next year and meet up.

Second - Not knowing Sweeden, how far was this from Källna, Skåne Län, Sweden I have friends there and was thinking that I could visit next year and meet up. Only store that sells alcohol over 3,5% is www.systembolaget.se in Sweden and they have great customer service and canimport pretty much anything we want. That said I didnt take the pics....I was so damn busy I didnt even have time to smoke thru one cigar. It was a dear friend that took the great pics. It is 700 km (about 7 hours drive), the event next year will be 2013-01-26 (saturday) in Gävle, Gävleborg län SWEDEN
BENN Posted February 2, 2012 Author Posted February 2, 2012 Good stuff!! Whats with the pic of the ashtray and cigars smoked only an inch? Were there some CA reviewers in the crowd that night? Some cigars are just bad, no point of smoking a bad cigar..life is to short
