aes8 Posted July 6, 2011 Posted July 6, 2011 This is an easy one for me. Either Seoul, ROK or Hong Kong, with Shanghai being the first alternative. (and Hongcouver doesn't count)
321contact Posted July 6, 2011 Posted July 6, 2011 New York City in Manhattan. So much to do there. Nightlife, Daylife, Central Park, lots of transportation to go anywhere. Only downside is you need a big salary to live well there. I work there and stay in a Hotel about 10 times a year. Anytime there is a job in Manhattan I am the first to raise my hand. I like to go to the museums and Times Square at night. Its free to just sit and people watch. Another choice is Honolulu, Hawaii. Place is awesome. Cool city and nice weather. Always seems to be a breeze there. I think a common denominator though is you need a good salary to live good anywhere your at. Anyway Home is where someone loves you.
gigabyte056 Posted July 6, 2011 Posted July 6, 2011 South of France or somewhere in Sicily, Probably Taormina.
headstand Posted July 6, 2011 Posted July 6, 2011 I good with south of France. Equally ok with being Lisa's neighbor in coastal Italy.
cigcars Posted July 6, 2011 Posted July 6, 2011 *New York City *Or Brazil *Toronto, Canada - just have to leave during winter (I don't do well in cold weather) *Italy or Spain.
NicPac Posted July 6, 2011 Posted July 6, 2011 Southern Cali, or somewhere in your fine country, Australia. Haven't been yet, but it's on the TOP of my list.
dB69 Posted July 6, 2011 Posted July 6, 2011 TOP3: 1. Amsterdam or nearby 2. Zürich or nearby 3. Moon
Fuzz Posted July 6, 2011 Posted July 6, 2011 With Australia quickly going to hell in a handbasket, this question is no longer just academic. I say all the FOH members chip in to buy a small island (I wonder if Cuba is for sale?). That way we can set up our own form of government (a constitutional monarchy with Lisa as ruler, methinks).
Kangaroo495 Posted July 6, 2011 Posted July 6, 2011 1. Melbourne (nothing will ever beat it) 2.... maybe Minsk as there is very little business there so the potential is huge to make money. Lots of hot girls. Very cheap. Lots of nightlife. **** weather, but I've been in Moscow for the last 5.5 years so...

Who will be the village idiot???
benjaminbbush Posted July 6, 2011 Posted July 6, 2011 If you strip me of all of my current responsibilities (e.g. wife, daughter, work, family, etc.), then you can dump my butt about 100 miles outside of Bozeman, Montana in any direction and I will be ecstatic. The more remote the better!
Puros Y Vino Posted July 6, 2011 Posted July 6, 2011 Hmmmm Italy for sure. I'd go with Bolzano up in the north near Austria. Though it hits zero Celsius in the winter it scores some of the highest summer temps due do its' microclimate. It's surrounded by mountains either covered in apple orchards or grape vines. It's very lush and green, clean city too. And if safe, somewhere in Mexico on the Mayan Riviera. Though I may not want to stay in their hot humid summer months. The locals say summer is miserable there.
beamer Posted July 6, 2011 Posted July 6, 2011 We're going to live in either France or Luxembourg at some point. Or both.
Mr.T Posted July 6, 2011 Posted July 6, 2011 My first choice would be Cape Town.....the combination of mountains, valleys, beautiful beaches and the two oceans is breathtaking. I love going there. Second choice would be a Greek island
ckearns Posted July 6, 2011 Posted July 6, 2011 San Sebastian, Spain. Food and drink, scenery and beaches, culture and sport. In my books its a dream spot.
celsis Posted July 6, 2011 Posted July 6, 2011 Sea Island, GADebordieu Beach, SC Interesting! I would prefer St Simons or Jekyll. Other place would be Monaco!
jjdolphin Posted July 6, 2011 Posted July 6, 2011 1. Peoples Republic of Northern California (with enough $$ of course) 2. Sydney, AUS (stones throw from the beach and the Roosters)
SmokinLightning Posted July 6, 2011 Posted July 6, 2011 Realistic, and hopefully sometime in the next 10-15 years... Sedona/Oak Creek, Arizona with beautiful red rock views and the mild climate of the high desert. Not to mention great restaurants and a thriving tourist area if you feel like rubbing elbows with people from all over the world. Haven't traveled enough yet to settle on a second choice. Somewhere mild.. don't mind a little winter, but not a big fan of the humid tropics. KC
thechenman Posted July 6, 2011 Posted July 6, 2011 That's easy...in Somalia so that I can live out my dream of being a pirate while supporting my family in my new trade. My second pick would be Pyongyang, N. Korea...living under the oppression of Kim Jong-il, so I can say to my wife and kids..."See how good you really used to have it back in New York." In all seriousness though, it would have to be either Venice, Italy with easy access by rail to the European Mainland, or in BrisVegas where I could apply for a job at Czar house...you guys need anyone to sweep up the deck?
thechenman Posted July 6, 2011 Posted July 6, 2011 Lanaii, HawaiiPlenty of golf. Minimal people. FJ Love the shooting range there.
Cohiba Stevie Posted July 6, 2011 Posted July 6, 2011 South of france - Nice to be precise. Then probably edinburgh.
