El Presidente Posted April 10, 2011 Posted April 10, 2011 We are progressively finding out which Cuban Cigar has the highest rate of member satisfaction (and the lowest). I will run through the 30 most popular cigars during April and will provide an ongoing chart to see how the cigars stack up. It should go without saying to only vote if you have actually tried one Feel free to post your experiences and thoughts on the thread Todays cigar: Cohiba Robusto
lancerv43 Posted April 10, 2011 Posted April 10, 2011 I wish I could be voting on this right now because this is thee #1 cigar on my to try list. I don't know why but I just feel like this would be a cigar that I would absolutely love. For now I will just see what the other members have to say.

If the satisfaction rate is high I might go out and pick one up at my B&M after finishing my midterms! Together with a Bolivar Petit Corona which I haven't tried yet either
MoneyPit Posted April 10, 2011 Posted April 10, 2011 I can't say that I've ever had a bad one. Some have been better than others, but they've all been very dependable. There has been some great looking boxes on the forum lately and I've been struggling to hold back picking up another box.
danclough Posted April 10, 2011 Posted April 10, 2011 Got a few 3-packs from the Czar for Christmas gifts and they got rave reviews. Great cigar.
Ken Gargett Posted April 10, 2011 Posted April 10, 2011 i don't wish to be difficult here but any chance you could get one of your kids to proof-read your posts? "generally always". seriously? so not 'generally' and not 'always' but 'generally always'? what the hell does that mean?
El Presidente Posted April 10, 2011 Author Posted April 10, 2011 i don't wish to be difficult here You are being difficult. 600+ votes to this series and you are the first to have a problem. Swallow the thesauraus and get over yourself
mazolaman Posted April 10, 2011 Posted April 10, 2011 I've smoked 12. All have been dull, little flavour, little flavour change. All well made, but dull.

Swallow the thesauraus and get over yourself i just regret seeing the manner in which you persist in massacring the english language. i can only assume others are too embarassed to raise to raise it. i'm just happy to help out.

Lotusguy Posted April 10, 2011 Posted April 10, 2011 Always between stellar and great for me so I voted for the "generally always good"
Vetteman Posted April 10, 2011 Posted April 10, 2011 Generally smoke smaller ring cigars, but this and the PSD4 are my favorite CC robustos.
bassman Posted April 10, 2011 Posted April 10, 2011 Never had a bad one, but never had a great one either. Solid average cigar. I do not buy these any longer.

jedipastor Posted April 10, 2011 Posted April 10, 2011 I've only smoked 3 Coros, so grated that's a poor sample set. But the first two were so boring as to be quite agravating. The 3rd was quite good.
Tarks Posted April 10, 2011 Posted April 10, 2011 My least favorite Cohiba. Most always a massive disappointment but yet I keep going back to them. I never claimed to be the sharpest tool in the shed.
Michel1968 Posted April 11, 2011 Posted April 11, 2011 Always a pleasure but that price... I voted for 'good' based on quality alone.
Rogers72 Posted April 11, 2011 Posted April 11, 2011 i voted generally always. I rarely smoke them though b/c their is so much out there just as good or better but cheaper. Have had a few with some age on them (5 or 6 yrs) that have been quite memorable though.
Charltonc Posted April 11, 2011 Posted April 11, 2011 average at best. The flavor, construction, and quality are good, but I can get a lot of better cigars for the price.
Firewiz25 Posted April 11, 2011 Posted April 11, 2011 Can't say I have ever had a bad Cohiba Robusto.
