Pretty darn good game!

We went from a country that had never won a gold in a home olympics and now we have the new record for golds in a Winter Olympics!

congrats. the aussie channel showing the wonter games chose instead to televise interviews with our athletes on how things might be improved. braindead. you want people to watch, you don't do that.

Wow what a game! USA scores with 15 second on the clock! They just couldn't bring it home though! Congrats to all you canadians! Your team played well!

I couldn't agree more Ken.

I for one am a HUGE Hockey fan and it really p*ssed me off that they chose to have Gianne Rooney, Grant Hacket (SWIMMERS!?) and Stephen Bradbury (You remember him - He won Gold (Whilst losing) in last winter Olympic games) discussing nonsense as well as interviews during a crucial televised game. <_<

Well done Canada. They are an amazing team and I for one am a Canadiens fan generally so that is a plus!! :)

Let's keep in mind Canada, USA does not give a **** about Hockey. You guys will still be talking about that game for weeks even months to come and most Americans don't even know there was a game yesterday. For those of us that did watch the game here in the states, we have already moved on to more important things like dinner and morning coffee.

On another note, the Russians were on the verge of nuking Canada after losing... Fortunately they've moved on to more important things now... like getting wasted and drowning their sorrows.

What a Croc

The US knows exactly what happened yesterday. Its a case of little brother beating big brother

Congratualtions to all of my Canadian friends. I would have loved seeing the US beat Canada out of national pride, but the team that wanted it most won. They played some furious hockey and they deserved to win.

Believe it or not, Hockey is HUGE in Huntsville, Alabama ( :) I KNOW!). The excitement of that game will only enourage younger players to get involved and stay involved in a great sport.

Again...Congrats to my northern neighbors...see you in Russia!

I don't know if it was a case of "little brother beating big brother." I think it was clear from the very beginning that Canada was the "big brother" in terms of hockey. More talent, more experience, deeper bench, home ice advantage. The only clear advantage the US had was Ryan Miller.

On a side note, it was sad seeing how dejected he looked during the post-game interview yesterday. Any goalie posting a save percentage close to 95% can play for my team any day.

At any rate, credit where credit is due. Good job Canada, enjoy the win.

Congrats to Canada in one of the best hockey games I have seen.

So proud of the way the U.S. played. Outmatched with talent yesterday but they almost pulled it off with grit and determination. Plus, with a hot goalie anything can happen in hockey.

Miller is the guy that everyone is going to be watching now.

Parise was also amazing in that game.

Well played Canada, see you in 4 years.

nice win. the whole bar (well the 6 Canadians in the bar) went crazy.

That was a great game although not the outcome I was hoping for. I was snowboarding in Flagstaff, AZ and everyone stopped and went inside to watch the game. It was something special. I would say that most Americans did care.

Congrats Canada and to the US team for one helluva run!

Same here! Congratulations to all!!! :)

Congrats to Canada...although I was rooting for the U.S. Top seeded underdogs, what an oxymoron. While hockey is not a big sport in terms of fan base here in the U.S., I would have to say that American's cared about the game from a sense of national pride, and it was a great game. As a sidebar...does Olympic Hockey seem like an NHL All-Star match to anyone else other than me?
