riderpride Posted March 1, 2010 Posted March 1, 2010 It was nice to see Crosby show up on the stats sheet again. Congrats to both teams for a great game! Lou took some heat for letting in the weak short-side goal against the Slovaks; he always has a tendancy to do so when he doesn't trust his defencemen to cover the back-side; looks like his cheating was justified as Niedermayer and Weber(?) failed to cover Parise on the game tying goal. Good job by the Americans for realizing this and sending it to OT.
Habanos2000 Posted March 1, 2010 Posted March 1, 2010 based on the topic title, I thought you found a GREAT cigar. what's all this about a hockey game yesterday?
mash Posted March 2, 2010 Posted March 2, 2010 Let's keep in mind Canada, USA does not give a **** about Hockey. You guys will still be talking about that game for weeks even months to come and most Americans don't even know there was a game yesterday. For those of us that did watch the game here in the states, we have already moved on to more important things like dinner and morning coffee.-Patrick As an aside, 28 million households in the US watched the game, for a rating of 15.2 Somebody gives a ****. Who knows, if the score was different, some of those Americans might have even talked about it, after their dinner and morning coffee of course.
