Stalebread Posted January 29, 2010 Posted January 29, 2010 I just finished writing to a friend that I poured over half a bottle of wine down the drain. My wife and I just did not like it. Why struggle through a bottle that you're not enjoying? Life is too short to put up with -- bad cigars -- weak beer -- cheap whiskey -- or mediocre wine. N'est-ce pas? What would you add to the list? (With the disclaimer that all taste if subjective, of course.)

laficion Posted January 29, 2010 Posted January 29, 2010 Hey Ken, I agree with you, anything that does not agree with your tastes should be abandoned, My father always said "Guy, we are on this earth only 3 secondes but man has the talent of wasting 2 and 1/2 secondes on complicating his existence".
Cohiba007 Posted January 29, 2010 Posted January 29, 2010 Bitchy, high maintenance women without a doubt. Life is too short and there are too many fine women out there. Obviously I am going through a break up. LOL

Kangaroo495 Posted January 29, 2010 Posted January 29, 2010 Keep the **** wine it makes an excellent deglazer for the BBQ... Could be good for a pasta sauce or something too... Otherwise chuck it.
Guest robustog Posted January 29, 2010 Posted January 29, 2010 Keep the **** wine it makes an excellent deglazer for the BBQ... I was always taught.. "Never cook with a wine you would not drink! "
BobLobLaw Posted January 29, 2010 Posted January 29, 2010 How about spending your free time with those you don't really care to see! My free time is precious and I don't see my really good friends enough as it is.

Jesuscookies Posted January 29, 2010 Posted January 29, 2010 How about spending your free time with those you don't really care to see! My free time is precious and I don't see my really good friends enough as it is. I love this one Nothing like driving for an hour each way to spend a Saturday with your ****** of a brother in law. Maybe I will light up a cigar in his house next time I visit
jwm8592 Posted January 29, 2010 Posted January 29, 2010 As my signature states, "Life is too short do what you want". I just feel aside from certain responsibilities that we must see thru, sometimes you just gotta do whatever the hell you want, no holding back. Sometimes that's a box of great looking cigars that you may not need, but down the road you'll be glad you got them. Sometimes its taking that vacation, just cuz you want too. As this post states Life is too short.
Nocoins Posted January 29, 2010 Posted January 29, 2010 Bad books. I think there are way too many good books to waste time reading a bad one, and too little time in life to waste on the principle of simply finishing a book just because I started it.
Stalebread Posted January 29, 2010 Author Posted January 29, 2010 Bad books. I think there are way too many good books to waste time reading a bad one, and too little time in life to waste on the principle of simply finishing a book just because I started it. I'm with you on this. Lately, I've been using the library a lot more. I can try a book without feeling some weird sense of responsibility that I have to finish it just because I started it, or just because I paid money for it.
thechenman Posted January 29, 2010 Posted January 29, 2010 I don't know about you guys...but I'm going to live forever, or die trying...
