This is the first Thanksgiving that has just been me, my wife, and my boys; so it is the first time without a big spread. We still ate well though. I didn't get pictures of brunch, but we had croissant french toast with a vanilla sauce and raspberry compote; scrambled eggs, and bacon. For a snack, I had an RG 88. For dinner it was Cornish game hens with a bourbon cream sauce, cornbread stuffing, maple glazed carrots, and mini pumpkin cheesecakes. I also had a whiskey sour.5 points

I have decades of after Thanksgiving dinner cigar smoking memories with my father. He was a pipe smoker, but a few nights a year he would have a cigar with me, Thanksgiving was one of them. He really loved cigars, his face always lit up when he was smoking one, a nice glass of vintage Port was our drink of choice. I’d almost always bring RyJ Churchill’s, don’t have any Churchill’s right now so a Capuletos will have to do. This box has been plagued with a much higher percentage of underfilled cigars than usual, this one at least has crawled up to the published weight of 15 g. Nice colorado maduro wrapper with a reddish hue. Good amount of resistance in the draw, with a sweet dark fruit flavor, blindfolded I’d guess this was a Ramon Allones. Opens at medium body with blackberry, briar and brown sugar. It’s a delicious cigar except like many 16’s the finish is quite dry, luckily the 03 Croft should take care of that....and it does. It settles into rich blackberry blueberry fruit and sweet briar. This cigar didn’t transition much, body made it up to medium full, fruit came down a little and sweet briar came up a little. I would have put a Ramon Allones band on this cigar 👻 The Port was a game changer, smoking this cigar without something sweet takes it from a 92 to an 85. The burn was razor sharp, a lovely hour and a half down memory lane.4 points

Yes. He played it for 2 songs. Matter of Trust, at the beginning opener of the show, and then towards the end of the show he played it for We Didn’t Start The Fire. @JohnS I made it into a Youtube for you.4 points

Agree here. I shopped IKEA once many years ago with my ex and would never step foot in there again. We spent hours immersed in the full IKEA experience; looking at every setup, lunch, shopping for crappy decor, etc. When we finally went to check out, after 30 minutes in the checkout line, the checker said she was going on break and I'd have go into a different line. I unleashed a tirade and told them they could keep their shitty furniture and left the cart at the register. You can add Pottery Barn to that hell as well. I finally told my wife that if she brings anything else into the house that I have to put together from PB, it goes right in the trash before the box gets opened. Either that or she can put it together herself and don't bother asking for my help if part A doesn't line up with part B since it never does. I've had to do way too much "custom" work to put that crap together over the years.4 points

Since Yoon Sukyeol rose to the power, my country keeps going south with consecutive tragic disasters like Seoul Halloween crowd crush due to his poor governance. Even worse, he didn't even do a proper public apology and instead, he decided to blame others including victims for Seoul Halloween crowd crush, which made me more upset. So, I and my mum went to Candlelight protest against Yoon Sukyeol and Kim Keonhee yesterday. Despite the distance (took more than a hour as I got lost in Noryangjin Station) and cold weather, I felt glad that I took part in peaceful Candlelight Vigil since many people joined there in the cause of justice regardless of age and gender. I'm definitely participating in the next Candlelight protests for sure! Note. Unable to take many pics because my phone was almost ran out battery3 points
