A Trinidad Reyes for breakfast this morning with coffee. A Cohiba Robusto last night(thanks Charles) that was exceptional that was followed up by a Mag 44. The 44's are inching close to the Lanceros for top spot.

Tried my first Atabey last night.  Good cigar.  First inch, didn’t understand the hype, but by the time I got half way through, it got really good.

An all too rare Sunday morning smoke for me, before later having to head off for a night shift on the job. A gorgeous Reyes from 2016 (BMP AGO), which pairs exceptionally well with a fruit-driven Rwandan Natural from the Aeropress. Deep and rich expressing that emblematic Trini-profile. Totally relaxing and helps me gather the energy needed later (dare anyone tell me cigars ain’t good for your health 😉)

Bonus note 🙄: The wrapper has developed an incredibly intense honey-aroma, which my wife always tends to characterise as cat piss. It always makes me wonder if this is perhaps a sex/gender thing, in that males are simply more drawn to “cat piss” than females… 😂

BAO JUL 25 SLR Regios

Some smokes over the past week. 
 

Sovereign Sun rested for 4 weeks - deeper profile than my previous two. 

Palmas Extra from our host - OEG JUN 25. As far as young cremas go, I rate these above the HU Majestics and Romeo 1. Yet to try the Super Partagas I received recently. 

HUHC from our host - BRM FEB 25

Non Plus single. First time trying the marca, and despite it being tightly packed, definitely picking up the salted driftwood notes. Not too sure how I feel about them, but I do have another one that doesn’t feel as tight. 

FdC Magicos - BST ABR 20. Won’t go so far as to say strawberry, but definitely an enjoyable red fruit sweetness on the retro. 

SLR Regios Single. First one, and the notes share some parallels with the La Cunas that I have. Definitely picking up and digging the stone fruit aspect. Ordered a box. 

Medio Corona from our host - ORB OCT 24. Nice little morning smoke with an Americano, waiting for the car to get washed.
