An RE Friday with @Nate Chu C&C for a Saturday morning with this Sir Winston from 03. Today is going to be great if this cigar is anything to judge it by. What a super smooth star

First cigar of the year.

I had a Connie A last night that was very tight for the first inch, wrapper busted and then it burned better for the next inch and half, and then it finished just fine, as if nothing prior had happened. Weird.

Sounds like ours were out of the same batch.

The manager of the Geneva store told me that these were made exclusively for the store. They weren’t messing around either. Hands down the best non-Cuban Davidoff I have ever smoked.

Did you grab a box?

No. Just 2 cigars. Had I tried one before leaving Geneva, I would have bought a box.

La Aroma de Cuba Small batch.

Good so far but very Linear. Woody, Earthy early on. Some leather, some cocoa now on the 2nd and leading to the final third, but that’s all I taste.

Nice! Is it the full strength cigar as advertised  though? Not compared to a CC, I mean compared to a full strength Nicaraguan cigar. I want to try this, but am leery of the pomp and circumstance of most cigar manufacturers. “A Cubanesque profile” (their advertising words) and “eat a big dinner before you smoke this” doesn’t really jibe…🙂

First third did give me a good punch, but it wasn’t anything I couldn’t handle. It was a full strength cigar but I feel that I’ve had stronger ones in the past and I definitely did not have a big dinner before lol.
