An RE Friday with @Nate Chu C&C for a Saturday morning with this Sir Winston from 03. Today is going to be great if this cigar is anything to judge it by. What a super smooth star

First cigar of the year.

C&C ‘14 especiales. Fantastic start to the day C&C with a Monte 4 C&C time today with a Perla picked up from 24:24

Second cigar after lunch is the 2009 Boli EL. Smoked one a year ago and it absolutely floored me with its strength and pepper. This has not started nearly as powerful unfortunately but we'll see.

These have always appeared like a two-tier production to me: In the same box, you could get absolute gems and sheer tasteless duds. Always wondered what the heck they did to these poor gars. As if someone had confused some bales of seco with volado. Construction was also often hit and miss.

Funny, its like you were there today. EXACTLY what we were saying, these were from the same box we smoked from last summer. Now, seeing as they weren't as expensive back then as they would be now (and perhaps even more so since I'm not paying for them at all), I'd be fine with having a dud every three or four cigars but.. This was really like night and day.
