El Presidente Posted March 19 Posted March 19 The year is flying by Coming to the end of First Quarter 2026: Three Questions What has made it into your regular rotation? What has been shuffled out of your regular rotation? What has been the star of your rotation? From your rotation, let us know what is rocking your cigar world .....and what is not. 3
Popular Post JohnS Posted March 19 Popular Post Posted March 19 What has made it into your regular rotation? Juan Lopez Seleccion No.1, Cohiba Siglo III. Why? Simply because they've been smoking really well of late. What has been shuffled out of your regular rotation? I haven't smoked as many San Cristobal de La Habana El Principe and Romeo y Julieta Petit Royales as I used to. There's no reason really. I'm just happy trying other cigars for now. What has been the star of your rotation? The aforementioned Juan Lopez Seleccion No.1, Cohiba Siglo III have been great, but the one cigar that I've really enjoyed in the last few months has been the Hoyo de Monterrey Le Hoyo de San Juan. I have had a few stellar examples recently. 10 1
Popular Post NYGuido Posted March 19 Popular Post Posted March 19 The Spada Gorda has become a near daily smoke for me, and the Monte Especial No 1 is occupying an every other week spot. The JL1 also has entered my rotation, but I only have 10 left. As for NC and non Fab5, the La Galera Habano Lancero, the My Father Blue, and the Aging Room Sonata have taken up residence in my daily smoke humidor. These cigars all are delicious and accessible and perform well above their price point in terms of flavor and construction. What’s fallen out? Definitely my Davidoff Millennium Robusto. It doesn’t taste the same in recent boxes, and I’m not loving the corojo-forward turn the blend seems to have taken. Such a shame, too, because this was one of my desert island cigars as recently as December. I’ve also had a lot of my Cubans fall out simply because it’s too hard to replace them and I need to save them for focused smoking occasions. I DO have “Cuban Friday” ever week, though. 10
Popular Post Duder Posted March 19 Popular Post Posted March 19 What has made it into your regular rotation? Yerandy Ninfas, RASS, BBF & San Juan. These have all been hitting my palate square. What has been shuffled out of your regular rotation? BGM, Partagas Charlottes, RA 898, SLR DC - dwindling stock so gotta conserve. What has been the star of your rotation? The San Juan has been spectacular. Esplendidos is my all star though. Nothing beats the king. 11

Popular Post El Niño Posted March 19 Popular Post Posted March 19 What has made it into your regular rotation? N4 Petit Corona, N3 Carlota, Spada Gorda, Trinity Robusto, LGC MdO4, Trinidad Espiritu No3 Belicoso, Sin Compromiso Intrepido What has been shuffled out of your regular rotation? N7 Ninfa, Upmann Regalias, N1 Lancero, Hoyo Coronation What has been the star of your rotation? It's hard to understate just how impressed I am with the N4 and Trinity Robusto. The Trini. Esp. Belicoso with a year and a half is absurdly good for the price. 6
JohnS Posted March 19 Posted March 19 4 hours ago, Habanoschris said: 👍😚💨What year are your San Juan? Mainly late-2014 but I did have a recent 2023 sample and honestly, it was just as good, in my opinion. 3
Popular Post griller Posted March 19 Popular Post Posted March 19 What has made it into your regular rotation? Yerandy & World Famous farm rolls. Kinda went deep on these starting in 2024 and that decision (for me and my palate) turned out to be a good one. BR & Nudies as well. What has been shuffled out of your regular rotation? Authentic Habanos for the most part. I'm hording what I have since I can't afford to replace it. I still light up 3-4 a month but try to keep it in check. What has been the star of your rotation? LOVE the Nudie Lonsdales along with the BR Petit 109s. I picked up a few Paul Garmirian Gourmet Series II singles back in November 2025 that were very complex & flavorful. 8
Popular Post loose_axle Posted March 20 Popular Post Posted March 20 I'm pretty infrequent of late but due to everything going on I'm smoking stuff I know isn't hard to replace. BR 109s, AF Anejo, assorted LFD/ Padron/ Davidoff/ Casdagli other NW I hold and can get easily and on a budget friendly basis. Will be adding a few bundles of MOFOH/ Nudies next time I'm low again. I've almost mentally switched off to buying any more Cubans and letting the current lot age nicely and be for special occasions/ with close mates who really know their cigars. Especially as the last two years my cigar of the year hasn't been Cuban (I know, I know, blasphemy but I've always been fond of the idea of desecrating the priest's temple). 6
Popular Post GVan Posted March 20 Popular Post Posted March 20 Recent Ins: Queen Corona - from 02/2025 - almost out of these. At just past the one year point they are stellar. Casdagli BOTS Brave - from 08/2024. At just shy of 2 years in the humidor and I'm trying not to reach for these. When I can hold off I reach for the Trinity Robusto instead which is part of my regular rotation from 03/2024. What's out: Sadly, SCdlH Principe - just because I'm almost out of these and saving them. This is one I'd pay the increased price for but can't get them shipped to my location. Monty #2 - finished the 2019 box and just giving the 2020 box more time. 2018 Partagas Shorts -- almost everyone is unsmokable and won't burn. They were on the "try one every 6 months" but last one was so bad I just put them away in long-term storage and won't try another one until they hit 10 years old (very frustrating)! Star: Boli PC and CJ's from 2019! Everyone is 91+ points with a few higher. A consistent great smoke being exactly what it is supposed to be. 7
Popular Post El Presidente Posted March 20 Author Popular Post Posted March 20 In Nudies Sovereign Sun and Queen Corona have become goto's. HDM San Juan. They have been one of my favourite cigars this quarter. Out H. Upmann Connie 1. Awful construction run. Harsh flavours Star HDM San Juan. 8

Popular Post JPark3 Posted March 21 Popular Post Posted March 21 In: Sovereign Suns and N7 Ninfa, Queen Corona once I make space. The QC's in my sampler are unreal. I will say that the bundle of Sovereign Suns I have now are much darker than usual and taste like completely different cigars, which are good, but I'm still figuring out how I feel about them. Love the Ninfa's fruit sweetness. Out: Cubans. Most of mine are young so it works out. But I'm sadly at a dozen or less Exhibicion No 4 and Petit Royales, which were gotos, so I've made the remainders Stars: 2018 Monte Edmundo was my 2025 smoke of the year, really captures why you smoke Montecristo. 60 day mark N8 Churchill was like I was smoking a smores. Still chasing that high. ROTT Spada Gorda; time has tamed the flavors, which are still great, but I miss the extra bite. 6
pohlmad Posted March 21 Posted March 21 In: Primarily smoking BR 109 and Petit 109, Padron Exclusivo, My Father Blue, Trinity Robusto, and trying cigars that are new to me from listening to Lounge Lizards (Sonata, Quattro, Keller LE 80, JC Newman The American). I just recently had the AF Black Pink Black Panther and bought a box, so that may enter it after some rest in the humidor. Out: My Cubans because I can’t imagine the day when I really want a D4, CoRo, Magnum 54, Siglo VI, JL1/2, or others and not have any left. It’s a terrible mindset and I know I should probably start smoking them, but at the same time, I’ve found some other great cigars. Star: BR 109 and Petit 109. They have perfect construction, great smoke output, and flavor that ‘hits the spot’ every time. 4
Popular Post Boxer31 Posted March 21 Popular Post Posted March 21 In: Fat Fundy, blackened by Metallica and La Aroma de Cuba (pretty good for sub $10) Out: my CCs for now especially due to the cold weather, will get them back around April 1st Star: 2001 N1 - both wrappers just get better!! & Padron 1964. 5
Joeyjojo Posted March 21 Posted March 21 Although I buy a few singles here and there these days, the bulk of my cigar buying seems to be done at Fabrica005. The Spada Gorda, Trinity Robusto and Sovereign Suns are becoming regular favourites. Outside of that, I've been enjoying the Tatuaje Brown Label Corojo. 4
ElLoboLoco Posted March 22 Posted March 22 In: Fab 5 lanceros, Fundys and Churchill. RyJ Royales. Tatuaje Regios, Vega Fina 1998, BR Petite 109, Avowed New Dawn, Some Dunbartons. Out: Spada Gordas, the last bundle was way too mild. Davidoffs (replaced by Klass Kelner blends). Star: RyJ Petit Royales and Dunbarton Muestro De Saka Krakatoa. 4
Popular Post AshMe Nothing Posted March 23 Popular Post Posted March 23 N4 Petit Corona…then something else…then N4…then something else…then N4… Can’t stay away from them. 6 months down they are very good. I’m gonna need a re-up soon. 5
Goldeneye Posted March 23 Posted March 23 Not much of a rotation for me in 2026 so far, just coming out of a long cold winter and spring. Only had 3-4 cigars so far this year and all have been Sovereign Suns. More variety and frequency will start next month when spring finally arrives. 2
Popular Post JDoughty Posted March 23 Popular Post Posted March 23 In: Everything Fabrica 005 and Bond Roberts. Yum. Lancero and Lonsdale are the most frequent followed by Sovereign Sun. Cheap and cheerful Cubans, love the Flor de Rafael Gonzalez and Partagas Mille Fleurs and have a decent stash. A new boutique maker I found, Don Roque, hits above its price class and is a tasty go to. Casa Carillo is also a winner, especially Pledge Prequel. Out: Most higher end Cubans that I'm hoarding a lot more carefully. I still enjoy having a wide range of New Worlds in the rotation. I'll try anything new from Liga Privada, LFD and Casa Carillo. 6

joeypots Posted March 24 Posted March 24 The single box of Punch 898 Regional I have is not long for this world. They are 'on' and speak to me every time I open the humidor. I'll probably smoke them all soon. Maybe I'll save one. I don't seem to have had a MCDE in a while, probably because I smoked the Punch 898s. I'm running low on a '16 cab of PPP. I'll smoke them less frequently and move over to the Mag 46 until something else hits its stride. 4
