I went Family Guy, but it was tough. The original Simpsons with the late Phil Hartman and when Conan was writing were gold, but it got stale quickly after that.  

I think I stuck with Family Guy for longer, I think.

Stewie is the tiebreaker here (from what I can recall!). South Park in a landslide, as mentioned, but I suppose that is probably why it wasn’t in this poll…

Tough call. Haven’t seen either in a long long time but both had their moments. Edge goes to The Simpsons for being first and for the softball episode.

Simpsons, pre-2000’s. However, King of the Hill is one of the best shows ever, blows both of these outta the water for me. I’ve watched the entire run several times.

Enjoyed 90s Simpsons and early Family Guy so bit of a quandary but Simpsons was the original. Like everyone is saying I'd have picked South Park over both...

Can it be neither? I have watched plenty of both, but there are many better animated shows. South Park, Futurama, Rick and Morty, Disenchantment, among many others. Sure these were the first two big ones, but many did it much better after.

Tough choice. Went with Family Guy. After Simpsons went digital, writing kind of fell off. Have hardly seen anything of the Simpsons after the movie.

Man this was a tough call for me. 90s and early 2000s it was Simpsons by a landslide. It really was a part of the social consciousness back then. Then the writing fell off/it stopped capturing my attention, or I grew up. 🤷‍♂️ 

Family Guy was at the start of the meme/short clip culture I feel like and was raunchy at a time when not a lot of other shows were doing it. The new episodes aren't nearly as funny/good but I'll still turn them on to fall asleep to. Therefore, I voted Family Guy.

I agree. I was living near Fairplay when South Park came out in 1997.

Pre season 10 Simpsons was brilliant, always on the nose and hilarious. After that it fell off like nothing I've ever seen. Just tired and unfunny.

I know most of the original writers had left by then, and I read that they were replaced with writers who were fans of the show instead of fans of life experience, and that hits pretty true.

Never liked Family Guy, probably actively dislike it. Which is bizarre because I love American Dad!

I went with Family Guy since we all talked about it in school more, so personal memories dragged me that way. But I have just as much love for the Simpsons. South Park, though, I would throw myself over to that side no questions asked.
