jps2345 Posted January 8 Posted January 8 What are everyone’s favourite H.Upmann regular production vitolas? I could use some suggestions. Thanks. 1

RAC14 Posted January 8 Posted January 8 Royal Robusto with age - no contest. (Caveat - never smoked a Sir Winston). 3
Head83 Posted January 8 Posted January 8 I love what my HUPC have aged into. If you can find any, well worth it. Other favourites are Connie A (pricey) and Mag 46. 2
Popular Post gormag38 Posted January 8 Popular Post Posted January 8 First and foremost; H.Upmann No.2. (The past few years they have been on a helluva run. Outside of some Cohiba vitolas, it very well may be my favorite habano the past few years). Others: Sir Winston (classic but can be hard to source), Half Corona (small but really damn good, can be a good intro stick imo), Connoisseur B (again a great blend like the Winston and time can do some remarkable things with them), Connoisseur 1 (good size, solid blend), Mag 46 (again a great size and a blend that can have some more kick, especially when young), Petit Coronas (a discontinued stick, so you likely wont be able to find any unless second hand or on Bond Roberts, but with some years down they're really great). 7
BrightonCorgi Posted January 8 Posted January 8 Any of them. Perhaps there's some small ones that are just ok, but all the Standard and Heavy Ring Gauge cigars from Upmann are good. 4
Montezüma Posted January 8 Posted January 8 Magnum for sure. Especially the 46. Great value too. Actually for value maybe the 50 even better. It is actually a rather long cigar. 4
Popular Post Puros Y Vino Posted January 8 Popular Post Posted January 8 Mag46, 50. Connie A, HU#2, Sir Winston .The smaller RG releases are not that interesting, IMHO. 5
Popular Post yuppie Posted January 8 Popular Post Posted January 8 Don't shy away from the Regalias and the Majestics, especially if you can find them with some good age. HUHC are phenomenal with 5+ years. If you're lucky enough to come across their discontinued Petit Coronas, don't hesitate. The Connie No.1s are awesome even when young. 5
jtt12002 Posted January 8 Posted January 8 Big fan of the Mag 54 - always a great and consistent smoke. 2
Mike Mecklenburg Posted January 8 Posted January 8 For availability and cost: 1) Connie 2 2) Magnum 46 3) Half Carona 1
Popular Post Bri Fi Posted January 9 Popular Post Posted January 9 H Upmann is my favorite. You really can’t go wrong with any vitola. If I had to chose my favorite it would be a mag 50. Price aside I’d pick it over a sir Winston. I’m sure I’ll catch heat for that but I have a box of mag 50 that hits 94-95 every time. Next choice would be HU2. The only box of H. Upmann I have that are duds are Mag 46, a 2017 box that hasn’t seen a score over 87. 5
Popular Post Lucas Buck Posted January 9 Popular Post Posted January 9 Coronas Major come in tubos and are great cigars even young. Hard to go wrong with any Upmann though. 6
BrightonCorgi Posted January 9 Posted January 9 This may sound like heresy, but I like the Magnum series from Upmann less than the non-Magnum cigars. 1 1

I had a Corona Major from 2010 (I believe) early in 2025; pulled it as a 'cold weather' cigar that I would easily pitch if I got too cold. I was blown away by what it had turned into. Sometime tubos just provide some damn good cigars 1 2
joeypots Posted January 9 Posted January 9 I've been wondering about the Connoisseur #2. Anyone into these? 1

I often pass over tempting tubos in my humidor less than ten years old. 1 1
