habanohal Posted Saturday at 12:27 AM Posted Saturday at 12:27 AM Work as always. Though every day get home, coffee and cigar on the deck. A late day tomorrow affords Sunday off to golf all day....and many cigars.
BrightonCorgi Posted Saturday at 12:18 PM Posted Saturday at 12:18 PM I have some late seasoning gardening to contend with. Elderberries are starting to be ready to pick. Sunday, I have a karting race in the morning. Haven't raced in over a month and the fall season starts the next week. I hope I haven't lost much speed. 2
Chibearsv Posted Saturday at 12:55 PM Posted Saturday at 12:55 PM Golf rained out this morning so my wife said its a perfect time to shop for my new suit; that I "need". As much as I hate that process, it'll probably lead to a good lunch. Will try for an early round of golf tomorrow before the Bears play. Have a great weekend all! 3
griller Posted Saturday at 02:26 PM Posted Saturday at 02:26 PM Last night was a great evening with my wife on our backyard deck listening to music, eating takeout pizza, and knocking back some various cocktails. Enjoyed a fantastic JohnnyO Mag 48 (farm roll) and a surprisingly complex Fabrica5 Piramide N2. Awake on Saturday enjoying a nice iced coffee & watching College GameDay coverage. The heat is back in my area & they're predicting a high of about 95 degrees F so will probably be watching my college football games in the basement most of the day before moving to the deck for the evening matchups. My wife has a killer Sangria recipe she'll be putting together this morning that will pair well with the hot temps. On deck cigar-wise is a N1 Lancero, Yerandy Gomez Siglo VI farm roll, Punch Punch from 2019, and an Upmann Coronas Major tubos from 2024. Sunday will be weekly grocery trip, yet unchosen protein to be cooked for the weekly meals, NFL (don't have a team I cheer for anymore; just like the game in general), and a sunset evening on the deck with my bride, some music, and a leftover cigar from Saturday's lineup most likely. Recharge before hitting the ground for another 5-day grind LOL. Last night's selection: 4

Popular Post El Hoze Posted Saturday at 04:10 PM Popular Post Posted Saturday at 04:10 PM Had the big annual kids fishing tournament in my town today with my 6 year old son. He got one small snook, lost another, and was exhausted by 11am. Very technical fishing, and I live in a big fishing town…some of these older kids are insanely good, so we’re out there mostly for experience/fun at this point. But he made some incredible casts and is getting alot better at fighting fish. Your average snook will outsmart a 6 year old more than half the time, a big snook will outsmart your average 46 year old most times…I know from experience. I am ready for a bunch of ice cold beers, a shower, and a cigar. 7

Love ADK! I’ve lost my list, but have done ~20 of the high peaks. My brother did all 46 in 4 weeks. 2
