How about commencing the tasting the usual amount of time after the cigars are shipped but spreading out the time between cigars? One tasting every two weeks would suit me better than every week.

I respectfully disagree. The sheer anticipation of that weekly email reveal is too good. Also, I like being able to tell my wife, “that I have to go smoke a cigar because it’s a competition I committed to, honey.”

Well, there is that. And I do remember saying something like, "I have to smoke this cigar, dear."

I had a stuff going on during the last tasting and if the next one comes at a time when I'm less distracted, I'll join in.
