PirelliCndms Posted Monday at 06:59 PM Posted Monday at 06:59 PM She was acting weird, lethargic, sad, and was a little bloated. Took her to the vet and they found blood in her abdomen. Rushed her an hour and a half at 100-105mph ( thankfully no cops) to the University of Illinois small animal hospital. They did an ultrasound and a CT Angio and found she has a tumor on her spleen that burst and started the internal bleeding. 60% of her blood volume was in her abdomen when they started surgery. Finally found out that she was ok and stable after surgery around 4am. Unfortunately they have a strong suspicion that she has a very aggressive cancer even though they didn’t find any other tumors. The samples are being sent to pathology. She’s only 6 years old and it’s really breaking my heart. This dog means so much to me, without her I am not certain that I would be here today. Please send pics of your pups and cigars to make me smile. Thanks in advance, Ty 2 17

They'll lick themselves raw very easily. 2
Popular Post Fugu Posted Tuesday at 12:02 PM Popular Post Posted Tuesday at 12:02 PM Feeling with you, mate. Just yesterday, our youngest of three “pups” (twelve years old meanwhile) got an emergency castration (hysterectomy). As always, of course, situations worsen over weekends…She’s still weak today but slowly recovering. Couple of years back, their mother has had a tumor, which had already spread. But she got an excellent new treatment, developed by our vet. All metastases disappeared and we were given another almost three years with her (she eventually died of heart insufficiency). Sending all our best wishes for a full recovery! 11

Carolina has been a cornerstone of our relationship and small family. I will actually do anything for this dog. Thankfully she is already making a speedy recovery and we get to go see her today. Discharge tomorrow assuming everything continues to improve. Thanks for the puppy pictures and love everyone. It really has helped ease the pain and for that I am extremely grateful. 2 3
