Puros Y Vino Posted April 4, 2024 Posted April 4, 2024 And now the Anejados line gets the old Habanos price boost. Prior to the increases. The best bargains in Havana were being able to find vintage boxes and paying current retail prices. Habanos is now stepping into the Vintage market and that will certainly be the end of that. From the article it looks like they're going to target 5-20YO stock. It will be interesting to see how this affects the secondary market.BR et al. Vintage 5 (silver band): cigars aged five to nine years Vintage 10 (gold-bronze band): cigars aged 10 to 14 years Vintage 15 (gold band): cigars aged 15 to 19 years Gran Vintage 20 (gold glitter band): cigars aged for at least 20 years 3
NSXCIGAR Posted April 4, 2024 Posted April 4, 2024 Anejados are dead! But will these new "vintage" cigars be just as weird? 2
Popular Post Cigar Surgeon Posted April 4, 2024 Popular Post Posted April 4, 2024 Quote which certifies that these vitolas have been aged in perfect conditions for a period of 10 to 14 years. 3 1 12
Marco_011t556 Posted April 4, 2024 Posted April 4, 2024 Gosh..the light golden colour of the band looks so NC-designed.. 1

As I understand it, they're not talking about throwing the bands on any old sticks they have sitting around. These bands will be for specific releases. Basically it's just a revamped Anejados program. The different coloured bands are basically the equivalent of Reserva vs Gran Reserva. They will all be in fancy packaging now, not their regular boxes like they were with Anejados. 2
Chibearsv Posted April 4, 2024 Posted April 4, 2024 Oh come on. That’s frickin cool. I’m not buying the aging necessarily, but it’s pretty awesome looking.
Baccy Posted April 5, 2024 Posted April 5, 2024 Anyone care to guess how much this trunk will run?Sent from my SM-S918U1 using Tapatalk

The Anejados are dead, long live the Anejados! Did we ever get to the bottom of the mysteries of how secret cigars, like the Monte Churchill, appeared out of nowhere aged and new banded but no one had ever heard a whiff about them previously? And with flavour profiles that didn't match the branding? 3
Popular Post rckymtn22 Posted April 5, 2024 Popular Post Posted April 5, 2024 The only thing that is 10 years old or more is the wood in the box. 2 4
Namisgr11 Posted April 5, 2024 Posted April 5, 2024 Next up, more offerings with medio tiempo and a fourth fermentation.
Puros Y Vino Posted April 5, 2024 Posted April 5, 2024 If they start spraying the Fundy pilones with Havana Club like they did prior to 2005, I might be interested. 😁 2

Maybe after 20 years someone with some inside knowledge will spill the beans. It may take that long to sell all of them. I know one LCDH in particular that still has dozens of boxes. 1
NSXCIGAR Posted June 5, 2024 Posted June 5, 2024 Hmm...2011 boxes, meticulous inspection (weighing even!)--are we actually going to be getting what's advertised here? 1

BoliDan Posted June 5, 2024 Posted June 5, 2024 Yay, more exclusive blends for thousands of dollars while you can't keep up with supply of standard production. I'm not salty or anything... 1

It would've been more believable if they said they were rolling cigars now with 10 years' aged tobacco, as opposed to trying to convince us that 10 years ago they decided to put 55,000 rolled Fundadores aside for a rainy day a decade in the future. They proudly think their customers are idiots. The 2011 PLM/BLM discrepancy we discussed in the box code thread actually would've come in quite helpful once released, if they weren't moved to this crazy humidor. 1
