It's been raining all day but just as the kids needed to go to bed, the skies cleared and my wife took one for the team and put the kids to bed solo.

This cigar is from a 2019 box.

Went for a v cut rather than the usual punch, the draw was perfect. Pre light taste - tobacco. The band was pretty snug so I've had to put my thumb over it.

1/3 - This is off to a great start. The draw is exactly what I like, enough resistance and the right amount of smoke from either end. Honey, light sweetness... a stunning floral honey.

2/3 - Exactly the same, I can't think of or get anything but floral honey and I am over the moon, this is just perfect for my taste. I've had younger examples that start of well but turn during the second third, I guess a sign of youth?

I let my wife have a go, she gets "fags and smoke" 🤣

Final third - more of the same, lovely sweetness dominating from start to finish. I managed to read about two pages of my book, instead just sitting back and enjoying the moment. Only ashed twice, perfectly rolled example.

This to me, is what it's all about, that standout cigar at the right time. 95.

Afraid the Siglo II train was off the mark, I didn't buy any pre cigarmargeddon and owe it to the kids not to indulge now.

Well done @ayedfy you were right, PLPC.

Thoroughly enjoyed this one and couldn't agree more that it's one of the last bastions of almost reasonable pricing in the Habanos canon. Was a real shame to brush my teeth before bed!

Wow. PLPC among my most regular smokes. Wrapper and year threw me off I think (that’s my excuse anyway!).

It was a good example but the low light might have affected the camera.
