Popular Post El Presidente Posted July 12, 2023 Popular Post Posted July 12, 2023 I saw this battered Romeo y Julieta cigar tube up for sale today. That batterd tube looked like the Romeo y Julieta Tubes I trained my dog Cohiba on many moons ago. He knew he was only allowed to touch tubed cigars and you never really knew what you were going to get. Miss him dearly. 14
KCCubano Posted July 12, 2023 Posted July 12, 2023 I remember when you had Cohiba. It was not a standard Labrador Retriever or I could be wrong. I too miss my Goldens and English Setters!
Popular Post Belltownhound Posted July 12, 2023 Popular Post Posted July 12, 2023 I have two Vizslas and can't help but to share two memories. The first is my boy, Bro, 11 yrs ago when he was a wild puppy and the second was when we welcomed his rival into our home, Lady, 10 yrs old. He met his match and she still harasses him to this day and it brings me joy. Note, they have not slowed down one bit in their older years! IMG_5641.mov IMG_6221.mov 5

Popular Post Meklown Posted July 13, 2023 Popular Post Posted July 13, 2023 Highball the rescue boy. 2.5 years, time flies by so quickly; I still remember clearly when we brought him home at 3 months old 5
Popular Post MickVanWinkle Posted July 13, 2023 Popular Post Posted July 13, 2023 One is my smoking buddy, content to sit beside me on the deck. The other is the little spam that brings offerings (snakes, rodents…) while I smoke. Not hard to tell which is which. 6
Popular Post JY0 Posted July 13, 2023 Popular Post Posted July 13, 2023 I sure miss these fur bags. 6
Popular Post BrightonCorgi Posted July 13, 2023 Popular Post Posted July 13, 2023 Camber (RIP) was our first corgi that we rescued from an animal hoarder. We had get her spayed and pull 23 teeth the first month in. Very quiet dog who just like to sit outside in our back yard as much as possible. 6
El Hoze Posted July 13, 2023 Posted July 13, 2023 I had a German Shepherd in college, Sierra. Most loving dog ever but she was a big black and tan German Shepherd and could fake the role pretty well if needed. We were attached at the hip. In college I lived right off campus with a few friends and inevitably someone would leave the gate or door open. On at least a few occasions I’d be walking through campus and out of the corner of my eye see her running full speed through the quad in total play mode as people ran for their lives and I’d have to run after her. As soon as she’d hear my voice she’d stop dead in her tracks and come to me ears down. One time she was playing frisbee with some random guy. Lost her to Lymphoma at age 8 or so. Over 20 years later I still get choked up thinking about her. Have not had a dog since as at that point life involved nonstop work and travel and apartment living and now my wife is not at all a dog person and is a total neat freak so the odds of having a dog much less a German Shepherd in the house are zero. I am hoping my 4 year old son eventually helps somehow convince her but I’m not optimistic. 4
Chibearsv Posted July 13, 2023 Posted July 13, 2023 I taught Tilly one trick (turn the volume up to hear the whispered command). She’s a pretty terrific dog. Not as brilliant as my German Shepherd growing up, but she’s a lot of fun. IMG_2237.mov 3
BoliDan Posted July 13, 2023 Posted July 13, 2023 That was some Tarantino level recording there Rob. Missed your calling.
